Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Weir

When we first walked in, the smell of the barnyard wood was so nice. The house was clutter free and they left a cute welcome sign for our family on the refrigerator. The kids (and admittedly us parents too 😃 ) loved the game room. We spent hours playing against each other. The bonus was when we went to bed and found out the bed was one of those electronic adjustable beds! The layout was perfect for our family. Our oldest son got to be in his own room while parents took the room connected to the one with bunkbeds for our younger son. We had privacy but were close enough to our little one for any night time needs. Thanks again for your hospitality, we will be wanting to book again in the future for sure!

Anthony’s place was lovely, great place for a family gathering and had all the amenities. We had a very minor issue and not only was Anthony responsive he had the issue resolved ASAP. Thank you for a great weekend. I would love to visit his Maine cabin.

Beautiful area! Spacious living room, dining and kitchen area. Definitely met our needs and was close to family we have in the same area.

My husband and I were in the area for a Jr. EYBL basketball tournament for my son. We stayed in the house along with 2 other families and their boys. It was PERFECT!!! So spacious, clean, and well equipped. The lake view was incredibly beautiful! The patio was a nice space for the boys to hang out between games. There were tons of board and card games to keep them busy. There was a nice office space that one of the dads used daily since he had some work to do. The beds were big and so comfortable! I loved the MIL house. It was well furnished and spacious as well. Great for the early to bed people… ME! Richard and Braden were very nice and allowed us a late checkout since our game was a little later on Sunday. I had only 1 question while there and I got a quick response. We have traveled a lot together and everyone agreed this is definitely in our top houses and we’ve stayed in and if ever in the area again, we will be back!

The place is walkable from the bus station even at 2am. Very safe and well lit to get there. The golf cart was a plus and allowed us transportation to downtown without walking. Great breakfast places only a ride away. The bedrooms were roomy and clean. The living room was very clean and remotes for tv were self explanatory. The bathrooms had all soaps, shampoos and body soap. I was travels light for the weekend and this place had a hair dryer, magnifying mirror and clean towels. The back porch was cozy and I enjoyed a morning coffee with the chirping of birds and watching squirrels. This place was 6 minutes from my parents place and I would definitely recommend staying here. They even had coffee, coffee pot and creamer! There is a washer and dryer but we didn’t use it those considered it… lol Lori got our guest passes to use the facilities- ie the pool I would say the only thing missing is a map of the cart trails - I didn’t ask so I’m unsure if that is available!

The view from the house is stunning and we had everything we needed to kyak, park our boat and enjoy the Rainbow river. Our family made lots of memories and had plenty of room. We can't wait to go back!!

We have stayed at this same house a few times when in the area for one of our bass tournaments. Always enjoy staying here and will again when were back up that way for another event!

Have booked several times and stayed in multiple units. Have always found Garry’s rentals to be impeccably clean & well stocked. The beds are so comfortable as well!!

Claudia was always responsive. She gave clear instructions for an easy access. The place was clean and perfect, peaceful, and private. Claudia left nice details to help our stay pleasant, including some delicious fresh farm eggs. Thank you very much. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Overall a very cute, well decorated little one bedroom duplex. My only complaint would be that the bedroom must be near a water softener or other large appliance because every night at least once a night I was woken up by some loud mechanical noises. Wasn't an issue for my husband who is a heavier sleeper but being a light sleeper it did bother my sleep somewhat. Otherwise everything else about the place was great with a well stocked kitchen.

We will be back in April, the camp was so clean and well maintained.

Place was exactly as described. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the lake. Very clean and all you could need in the kitchen. Brianna was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Gary cozy apartment is a perfect way to put it! Spacious, clean, stocked, and in a great location. You just can’t beat the price! We’ll definitely stay again!

Very nice historical home to stay in. Felt like I was stepping back into time in a very comfortable setting. It’s very close and convenient to all the happenings down in Mt Dora and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying at Peter and Lisa’s home.

Great place to stay with a unique setup! The location had a beautiful drive getting there, and the place had everything I needed for a short stay!

My brother & I are in our 70s and stayed 5 nights for a fishing/canoeing getaway. This home was perfect for this. Beautiful location! Amazing view from the back. Nicely prepared home that has added touches. Very easy to find. An initial supply of bottled water was in the frig. The host was very responsive to any questions. If the online description had not warned about the sulfur smell of house water, the possibility of ants inside the home, and no dishwasher, this rating would be lower. The ants (2 to 3 types) in the guest bathroom are problematic, and this situation needs to be aggressively addressed. Overall, my brother & I had a wonderful time.

We had a great time. Second time we have come and stayed here and we would do it again the next time we’re in the area. The lake is beautiful and the neighborhood peaceful.

Exactly like the pictures, adorable cottage, very cozy! Had an amazing time and it had everything we needed for the few days we were there. Kitchen was well equipped with basic cooking needs. Beds and bed linens were really comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels as well.

From the moment we walked through the door, everything was just fantastic. Very clean, and exactly how the pictures looked. Nights sitting dockside was amazing, even with the Florida heat. the breeze from the lake just made it peaceful. Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here

Lovely home in a friendly neighborhood and close to so many attractions. Kenneth was friendly and very welcoming and responsive to my questions.

Karla's place is very nice. Very clean, the screened in porch was so nice and there are sliding glass doors where you can see the beauty outside. The lake, dock and everything outside were so beautiful. The thing I loved the most is it is so quiet there. We live on a noisy road so this was heaven. We met Karla as we were leaving, and she is so nice. Directions to the cottage were perfect, check in was easy. Very nice place when you have a dog as we were traveling with our Yorkie. You will love Karla's place!
