Holiday rentals with lake access in Marion County

This house is a beautiful home in an historic neighborhood in Ocala. There were a few minor problems such as not enough kitchen essentials. I’m sure most families prefer not to cook, but my family of 13 enjoys Nana’s home cooking, and I love to cook for them. I could have used mixing bowls, sauce pans, forks, and other small items. The pool is great, and everyone enjoyed having it available right out the back door. There were several large areas where we could group together and talk or play games. This is a spacious home perfect for large groups.

We loved staying there. It was Father's Day weekend, and we brought our boat. We could put in a few minutes away and dock at Steven's place right across the street. The home was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. The house is close to a grocery store and not far from the Rainbow River or the Withlacoochee River. The house was comfortable and had all the necessary items for cooking. Beautiful area!!

amazing place to stay with a private slip for the boat. multiple place to take the boat and have dinner, drinks and live entertainment. Very quiet neighborhood and had no issues. Great experience!! Highly recommend!

The home was absolutely beautiful—brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was super clean, which we really appreciated. There was more than enough space for our kids to run around both inside and outside. The fenced-in yard gave us a sense of privacy and peace of mind with little ones, and the huge backyard was perfect for playing and relaxing. The lake was a major highlight—the water was incredibly clear, and the beach area was just the right size for lounging and letting the kids splash around. It felt like our own little private escape. The water was warm and perfect for swimming. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into creating a space that’s welcoming and comfortable for families. Would absolutely recommend and hope to come back again!

Beautiful accommodations that felt like a home away from home. Perfect stay for relaxation, peace and quiet. Well kept dock with stairs to get on and off a boat without having to get your feet wet. Tyler was very nice and had great communication. He exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My young son especially enjoyed the little hot tub! There are tons of games which was awesome. We needed the place very last minute and they were able to accommodate us quickly which was much appreciated. The place was adorable but my only small complaint is that the pictures in the listing are stretched and make it appear much larger than it is. This is very common and not meant to be a complaint, per se. Just something to be aware of. The host was great and we enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much for the last minute hospitality!

The house exceeded our expectations. It was cozy and spacious inside and had beautiful views and vibes out back. We came specifically to explore the fl springs which were all in very close proximity to the house. The location was perfect for this! The house was truly stocked with all needs from kitchen supplies to all bathroom essentials and laundry needs. The office room was stocked and the games collection was awesome for all ages. The heated toilets was something we all laughed about but who knew we would miss them so much. Whitney goes above and beyond with stocking extras like everything to make s’more’s & homemade popcorn. - One thing to note is the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away and during our stay 3 out of the 5 available places to eat were closed. There was also no propane or lighter fluid for grilling at the house. So plan ahead to bring or request that.

Wonderful stay. The cottage was exactly as described. Very clean. I felt very safe staying there by myself and would have enjoyed a longer stay where I could sit on the little porch and relax. It is really a feeling of what Florida used to be. Big trees, older homes. Quiet and relaxed studio cottage. The couch and bed were very comfortable. No frills but didn’t need or want them. If I’m back in the area for another show I’ll try and stay here again. There’s a good local pizza place in Micanopy and a good grill at the Orange Lake RV resort.

Cassie accommodated out early to check in because of our event. She met us onsite and was super helpful helping us locate the correct place. **The photos on the downstairs apartment rental are not of that actual unit. The downstairs apartment is the “Bridal Suite” and is equally as cute and fit our needs perfect. The decor is perfect. The surroundings are amazingly beautiful. The Oaks truly are Enchanting. Thankful for Kea for helping us with our wet concert clothes! 🌧️ We will be back. The campers and the A frame huts are magical. Thanks again.

What a perfect place! Lots of traffic in the area and some run down houses nearby, but if you want to kayak and be near the confluence of both rivers and have a wonderful back porch that shuts all that out right on the river, then this is not an issue. Also, the Blue Run and Withlacoochee bike trail are just a short, quiet neighborhood ride away with just a very, very short bridge crossing in traffic across from Swampy's restaurant. Julie’s condo was exactly as described. The view was amazing and just a short walk to the boat and pool. The unit is very well maintained and clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. My group thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back soon. Julie was beyond helpful with condo info and info on boat slips and ramp usage, and always was quick to respond to my requests.

Terrific spot right on the river, around the corner from the kayak shop so you can paddle over and catch a shuttle up to the KP hole, paddle back down and end at the dock right by your unit. Fantastic time, the place was clean comfortable and well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a riverfront view and easy paddling access, very nice spot. A little tip turn the air down a few hours before you go to sleep the top floor takes a little bit to cool down. Thanks Matt for our stay in your beautiful spot.

Very quiet little place. It was super clean. The pics show a lot of the St. Johns river, but this is not waterfront. There is a place very close (1.5 miles) called Renegades with a working boat ramp, great restaurant, marina, and live music.

We can’t thank Diana and her family enough for making us feel right at home and for making our stay so pleasant. She was always willing to help in any way possible. We will make certain to stay here again should we find ourselves in the Ocala area next year. The mark of a great Airbnb is that your guests feel sad leaving it behind—that it becomes their home away from home that provides safety and comfort. This Airbnb hits the mark in every way, and then some. We can’t thank the Martins enough for their generosity and kindness.

Plenty of room for everyone to have their own bed. The fooseball and dart board were great and the back patio was a nice place to sit and relax.

We always have a great time visiting the cottage on Lake Weir. Larry and Robert are wonderful hosts. The view is beautiful relaxing and peaceful. Perfect for coffee on the dock in the morning and winding down after a day on the beach and in the water on jet skis. Perfect!!!!!!

We had a great time. Second time we have come and stayed here and we would do it again the next time we’re in the area. The lake is beautiful and the neighborhood peaceful.

Very peaceful and quiet Lake home in the country just minutes from "The Villages". Suzane & family are very kind and helpful. They brought treats from their mini orchard farm next to the lake home. Always checked in to see if anything was needed for our stay. Would highly recommend staying. Great location to explore "The Villages".

This is year two that we’ve stayed here. We will be back next year as well. Tom is a great host and always responsive if you have questions. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked through the door, everything was just fantastic. Very clean, and exactly how the pictures looked. Nights sitting dockside was amazing, even with the Florida heat. the breeze from the lake just made it peaceful. Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.
