Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Superior

The place is very nice and the view is amazing. The kitchen is full of all the utensils and pots and pans you would want to cook anything. Troy was also great at communicating. The grill outside was great. We would go back and highly recommend the place to anyone looking to experience northern MN.

Our stay was one of our best Airbnb weekends to date. This home is a custom-designed, unique experience. And the location is truly right on Lake Superior, just a few steps away- waking to the sound of waves every morning was amazing. The house is extremely clean and cozy, all you could want or need is labeled or explained with host notes or instructions. The full kitchen is well equipped, and the wood stove provides cozy heat and comfort. We loved our stay!

The house was exactly as described and Jerri is a warm, flexible hostess, responsive to needs and questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the house very comfortable, the beds cozy and the location perfect for chasing waterfalls, collecting Yooper Lites, finding great coffee and walking distance from lovely trails. Recommendations were spot on for our needs and interests and instructions clear, reasonable and easy to follow. We loved the firepit in the back yard to end days of hiking and kayaking. Highly recommend!

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

Awesome spot! The house has great spots to hang out outdoors in nice weather, and cozy places inside when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. Everything you’d expect to have is there, plus more (functional pizza oven, speakers, dog supplies). Located a few minutes from Grand Marais, set back up the hill in the woods with views of the lake. Would have loved to stay longer :)

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. We had a great time in this Marquette cabin! It was a great location for visiting restaurants and breweries in town and for doing local hikes. The home looked just like the photos and everything was clean and well-organized. We would stay again on a future trip to the UP!

The house was perfect. Beds were insanely comfortable and the house was clean. Beautiful views, set right next to our favorite state park. Will be back for sure, several times!

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. Viv greeted us in person the evening we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, used the charcoal grill each evening, and slept well on the very comfortable mattress.

This is our second time staying with Michelle and we definitely will continue to do so. The amenities are great, and Michelle provides everything you may need and then some. The space is very comfortable and the location is perfect! Walking distance to the lake, grocery store, restaurants, walking trails, and so many other sights.

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

Robert’s place was the perfect Mother’s Day getaway for my daughter and I. The setting was peaceful and private — just what we needed to unwind. My daughter especially loved the game room and trampoline, while I really appreciated the relaxing hot tub and sauna. The space was well-equipped, and felt like a little retreat from the everyday. Being just a 30-minute drive into town made it convenient without sacrificing the quiet we were looking for. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

A very well designed space for a family of four- nice deck and walk down to the rocks by Lake Superior. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed! We’d definitely reserve again!

My family and I stayed up here for a quick weekend trip, myself, my fiancée, our 6 month old and our dog. This Airbnb was the perfect combination of prime location and amenities. Day one before check-in we were able to drive the short distance to Grand Marais and go shop around the town, try out some new food, and walk the dog on the shore of Lake Superior. Check-in was such a breeze through the hosts extremely clear instructions. The condo was really clean and well stocked with all the little things that you forget to pack on a weekend away (and coffee)! The location being between Tofte and Lutsen let us get out to a few different towns to check out great food and drink options. One morning we went to Coho cafe for breakfast and coffee followed by 3 waterfalls all within 15 minutes, it made for a beautiful day. That afternoon we went down to the shore right at the resort and just took in the view. The sauna, hot tub and pool were just the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back 👍

This was my first visit to the North Shore (WOW!) and Mikhala's space made it perfect! The view of Lake Superior was stunning and I enjoyed having morning coffee on the walkout patio. The space was very clean and the bed super comfortable. I appreciated the well stocked toilet paper, paper towels, soap, towels, blankets, and pillow options. Tofte was a great central hub for all the hiking trails on my bucket list + Grand Marais was an easy/beautiful drive and I highly recommend eating at the Angry Trout - it was best meal I've had in a very long time! I loved it here so much I extended my stay an extra night. Highly recommend, especially if a solo traveler like me.

We really enjoyed our time in Two Harbors. The location of this property was nice and secluded. We enjoyed the geese, walking trails, sauna, community room, and overall atmosphere. Missy was very quick, responsive, and kind. Thank you, God Bless!
