Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Superior

Our honeymoon stay at the Bakery Bungalow was beyond enchanted! When we arrived it was hard to describe how tickled we were at our delightful and tasty lodgings, with the decorations and interior design that showed the loving host who was behind the scenes! When we arrived there were muffins waiting for us, the next day there was a delivery of banana bread, and the final day was a memento of our stay! If one cannot figure out what I mean in the last three paragraphs, the bottom line is: BOOK THIS BUNGALOW!

I have stayed at Scott & Debbie’s place several times. It is the most peaceful serene place. The art work is incredible the home a work of art in itself. The mere fact that I can bring my dog 🐕 makes me very happy.

Loved this place - perfect for a small group/couple/besties! Place was cozy and made us feel right at home. The furnace was a nice touch as the first night was kinda chilly so we took advantage of that! A little outside of town but not too far of a drive

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

What a delightful little home this was, absolute a labour of love. Exceptionally clean and overwhelming stocked with condiments, teas and coffees and extensive selection of shampoos and soap. An ideal home for a peaceful and quiet break from every day life.

This cabin is a great family get away. 30 min drive from Duluth or Two Harbors, fun is never to far away. The home is a vacation in and of itself could spend a whole week just on the property.

Very nice experience. It was an unbelievablely beautiful house (photos don't do it justice). The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

We had an amazing visit at Rich’s place. It was perfect for our first time in the upper peninsula of MI. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do. It was great being so close to beach, Munising, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and amazing views of Lake Superior. After a long day exploring in the cool weather it was great coming back to a warm place that had a nice fireplace going. We definitely have a lot more to still explore and hope to be back! Highly recommend this great, convenient and comfortable spot!

Viv greeted us in person the evening we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, used the charcoal grill each evening, and slept well on the very comfortable mattress.

What a wonderful cozy spot to stay in Marquette! My family (kiddos + pup) were right at home here and had plenty of room to relax in Alexandra’s place. The location is excellent - walking distance to the waterfront, farmers market and many coffee shops, bookstores, breweries. We will be back for sure!

The cutest apartment and very clean. Within walking distance to attractions and restaurants, but still just a little tucked away and private.

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

Robert’s place was the perfect Mother’s Day getaway for my daughter and I. The setting was peaceful and private — just what we needed to unwind. My daughter especially loved the game room and trampoline, while I really appreciated the relaxing hot tub and sauna. The space was well-equipped, and felt like a little retreat from the everyday. Being just a 30-minute drive into town made it convenient without sacrificing the quiet we were looking for. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The AIRBNB we had booked for a ski weekend cancelled our reservation 4 hours before check in after driving from Chicago through nonstop snowstorms over 2 days due to a "double booking" . We located this property because it was a busy weekend and not much else was available with the assistance of AIRBNB support. So happy we were able to stay here! Location was perfect as we were skiing at Big Powderhorn (1 min away) and Snowriver (15 min away). The villa was clean and exactly as described. The kids had a great time in the hot tub after a long day on the hills and the adults had a great time warming up next to the fireplace with a cocktail. Slept 3 adults and 4 kids comfortably and we did not feel crowded at all. Kitchen and all amenities were perfect for our needs. Will definitely look up this listing again next year when we return for our annual trip to the UP.

We enjoyed spending the weekend at Anna’s place! A few of us took part in the Superior Spring Trail Run, it was the perfect home base for our active weekend. Comfortable, clean and a wonderful view. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on site. We would definitely stay again.

The water falls and hiking areas are conveniently near by, the view is amazing. If your looking for an amazing weekend i suggest taking the trip and rejuvenate your family life and your love in each other because it really help my family and I.

The place was spotless. The fire was cozy, the hot tub was hot, and was perfect for our ski weekend minus the sub zero temps.

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..

Great location with ski in ski out. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, and Tupperware. I'm sure our group will be staying here again in the future.
