House holiday rentals in Lake Lure

Great time at Lake Lure! We had a great time relaxing with our family. Seeing bears from the front porch and a bobcat from the back deck was an added bonus! Fran was a great host.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

This stay showed us why we always prefer when the rental is owned by a person and not a big company, Trace was super responsive and easy to work with our entire stay. Location was fantastic and it was super easy to get to all the things in ashville we wanted to while still being in a home that was quiet and relaxing.

We had a great time spending a few nights here over Spring Break with our kids! Brandi was incredibly helpful and responsive with anything we needed. She even kept us in the loop with local information on burn bans with the conditions being so favorable for fires to catch. The place was very clean and we all had a blast! One thing I'll note for other families with small children. The spiral staircase is the only method inside of getting from the main floor to the basement. Our youngest needed a lot of supervision, even with the door closed, to make sure he didn't slip down or fall from the top ledge. It's definitely not a deal breaker, just something I wish I would've paid a little more attention to when reviewing photos of the listing.

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

Great place, clean, close to town, great accommodation!

We have stayed at a lot of airbnb homes and this was by far the cleanest! The screened in porch was so relaxing, especially during a rain storm. We even saw a double rainbow! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed! Great host, beautiful home, and beautifully landscaped yard! We had a great time.

The view was amazing, and the whole reason I specifically booked this house, and I was certainly not disappointed. The house was as listed, felt very comfy, was clean, everything as expected. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on coming back.

I have a family of 6 and we travel often and finding a great Airbnb is a hobby for us. This home is by far my favorite that I have ever stayed in. Carly was wonderful, responsive, super kind and super helpful. The house is incredibly done. I noticed so many fun attentions to detail and it was a joyful and peaceful house to be in. I also highly recommend visiting the Lake Lure area of NC. They are still coming back from the hurricane, but they deserved to be visited as it is a gorgeous part of North Carolina. Look nowhere else and stay here!

Absolutely loved our stay. The home was very family friendly and even came with plenty of wood to have a nice campfire for each night of our stay. The lazy river and pool are just 5min away and some nice restaurants nearby. My family was able to easily unplug and reset here and hope to do it again.

The home was lovely with a sitting area adjacent to the living room that had large windows overlooking the lake with a mountain on the opposite side. Really beautiful. Also adjacent to the sitting area, there was a large screened porch. The deck was right at the water's edge. My husband went fishing and it was a nice place to sit and enjoy the view. The coffee maker didn't work and James promptly had a brand new coffee maker delivered. The kitchen was very well equipped and met all of our cooking needs. It had a state of the art refrigerator. We were pleasantly surprised that the TV was a Smart TV and we were able to log into Amazon and Netflix. I would like to go back and I would highly recommend this unit.

The property was super clean, cozy and in a great location. Beautiful views of the lake and a private backyard. Interior had all the essentials one might need. Linens were abundant and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were all upgraded and very nice. Quick drive to the market and a walk across the street for coffee, drinks and food. Also a quick drive to Chinmey Rock. Patrick, the host, was very responsive and always friendly. Definitely recommend. We will be staying here again!

Very glad to see the Lake Lure area rebuilding and accepting visitors after the deviation from Helene. We have been visiting the area for many years now. I was very glad to see a rental in the area on the water available. The house has everything you need, in a great location, close to restaurants and the grocery store. Boyd was super responsive and easy to deal with. Five stars!

Margarets hospitality is beyond anything ive witnessed in my life. We stayed during hurricane Helene. Not only did she take care of every possible need in the beginning days before the hurricane, but when we escaped via helicopter and made it to her hometown she even offered up her own house for us to take refuge when all the hotels were booked and cooked dinner for us. Not saying you will have the same luxury, but this is the highest caliber person you could possibly do business with. The property has the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life and the house is so immaculate, there is nowhere I'd rather be in the midst of disaster or a relaxing vacation. I literally experienced both. I will be coming back with a quickness as soon as the town is rebuilt, and the property was very resilient and mostly undamaged through the brutal storm, the elevation allows for protection against any flash floods. But yes the house is incredible and hosts very attentive to needs

Photos do not do this serene escape justice! I spent two nights at this magical mountain home and it was the perfect place to experience peace in nature. The views were superb, but the home was so special, beautiful and modern decor but still so cozy! Every room had a stunning view of the all the surrounding green trees and mountains. The porch swing was the perfect place to enjoy a warm cup of tea. I also enjoyed taking a bath upstairs & lounging in the loft area, never having to leave the view of the beautiful outdoors with all the large windows and natural light from all directions. The hosts were accommodating to an early check in which I super appreciated and were helpful and responsive, also providing a beautiful book at the home providing all necessary info for a smooth and enjoyable stay. I would be thrilled to return to this beautiful property one day! I left feeling completely recharged 🙏🏼

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

What a perfect place! Everything was just as pictured and stocked with everything you would need. We truly felt like we were at second home and not a rental. Home is extremely clean and comfortable with peaceful and beautiful surroundings! We really enjoyed our time there!

LOVED our stay! Beautiful view, loved the fire pit, very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location. Would absolutely stay again if we make it back to Asheville. The drive up is a little intimidating but nothing the Jeep Wrangler couldn’t handle.

The community was absolutely wonderful to have access to. Ashley was extremely responsive and the home was a fabulous place to stay. S’mores, running room for our pups and plenty of space outside definitely made it even better!

Austin & Claire go above and beyond to provide a great place to stay in Asheville. The house was beautiful and the location was nice too and close to everything. They even have a personal guide book with their recommendations for places to eat & things to do in town. They truly care about their community and the experience they give their guests.

Wonderful place to stay right outside all of the downtown Asheville fun! I will absolutely be staying here anytime I visit the area!
