Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Keowee

My wife just said this is her favorite place we’ve stayed at in the Clemson area and we’ve going down for four years. Peaceful location, went kayaking and hung out on the dock. Very comfortable beds as well. Quick drive to campus and having a Publix one minute away was a great added bonus making everything that much easier to plan and manage. Cathy was great, and proactively answered any question I could have had when she initially reached out to me. It was a great stay!!

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

A Beautiful, Nostalgic Getaway by the Lake I stayed at this cozy cabin for a short weekend escape, and it was exactly what I needed. The setting is absolutely beautiful — right on the lake, with a stunning view that makes you want to slow down and breathe it all in. One of the highlights was the jacuzzi overlooking the water — sitting there at dusk, watching the stars reflect on the lake, was pure magic. The cabin itself felt like home — very comfortable furniture, warm and inviting décor, and little touches that brought on a sense of nostalgia. It reminded me of growing up and going to family cabins, but with a few modern comforts that made it even better. As a bonus, there’s a fun local escape room nearby called Exit 4 — perfect for adding a little adventure to a relaxing trip. Whether you're looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or just enjoy some peaceful downtime, this cabin is a gem. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! Christine’s place is an absolute gem and she is an absolutely amazing host. Everything was as planned and even more. Great lake community, really peaceful with a 2 min walk to beach area. House was perfect size and spotless. This is a great spot and Christine is super helpful and responsive. Also was surprised how short of a drive it was from all the things you could need, restaurants, stores, etc. and best of all real close to Clemson!

Three generations and our dog had a great stay at Portman’s Paradise. It was perfect for our group size. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the photos and the home was clean and spacious. The loft room was a great additional space to relax. The view was beautiful. When the power went out in the neighborhood, the host was quick to reach out and let us know, keep us updated and was responsive to answer our questions.

What a serene and peaceful way to bring in the new year and celebrate my partner's birthday all coupled with unbeatable lakes views. We had an amazing time, went on several hikes, had great coffee, and just relaxed. The host was responsive and accommodating as we requested a later check out for a slower morning and it was immediately granted. If you want to get away for some peace and quite or sprinkle your stay with activity, your choice but this place is where you should stay.

We had a fabulous week at your lake house! the house was perfect for our 3 generations. The game room and beds upstairs was the secret hide away for grand kids. the bedrooms were extra spacious and cozy. living space great. tops was the double deck at the lake. We were gifted with new fishing poles, floats, and corn hole game. Could not have been a more pleasant home. kitchen so organized, and clean. immediate response to any questions. loved the book choices throughout the house. We had warm greating and note for a blessed week, and blessed week it was!

What a lovely home with incredible access to Lake Hartwell! The views from the dock are beautiful, and the house itself is decorated in a minimalistic and cozy way. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics for cooking at home! The neighborhood is peaceful and, while the gravel may not be ideal walking for some, is easily walkable.

Solid location and place. Felt safe. Worked great for our family get together. Very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

Truly a marvel. We were looking for a quiet mountain hideaway and found it. It had everything we could ask for from kayaks, canoeing, fishing campfire even a s'more stick. Cozy enough for my family and I and close to all the Waterfalls. I am very happy with this place and would be happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

A lovely spot on Hartwell. We really enjoyed our time at this lakeside cottage and loved the views of the lake from the screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couples getaway or even a small family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay :) – beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels were provided, and our hosts really thought of everything. Would absolutely stay at Bryan and Gina's lake home again!

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

Super easy to get in and out and worked out well over thanksgiving. They have great lake access so we need to return in summer!

Wow. We will be coming back. We booked this last minute as another Airbnb fell through. I was able to book around 6pm and was able to check in within minutes. The host was so friendly and the house was just perfect. So beautiful! We will be back ❤️❤️❤️ beds comfortable, we saw deer every morning and night outside - so peaceful!!

This lake house gave us exactly what we needed…felt like home. All my family enjoyed it so much. Lots of outdoor seating on decks…loved the massive table for meals out on deck in front of fireplace. Rented a pontoon boat for day and that was super easy to do and hook up to the dock. Kitchen was awesome to cook in. Amanda is very communicative and responded in seconds. Would absolutely stay here again. It was expensive the weekend we stayed but it was graduation and that’s how it goes anywhere that weekend. Thank you Amanda for an amazing place to stay!

A very nice place that is a fit for two. Had everything you need with a screened in porch. The driveway is gravel and next to another house that had several cars at it that made it hard to park close to the house. Had a nice little pond with nice views.

Great spot on the lake! The living area and outdoor areas are perfect for a group to enjoy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal including seasonings. The dock is great and it’s on a cove so the water is calm and safe for swimming. The nearby town of Hartwell is awesome too. Jonathan and Madison were excellent hosts, very friendly and communicative plus easy going. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to get away and relax. The kids had tons to do, the house and dock are full of amenities, and the hosts were super helpful and responsive. We hope to make it an annual tradition!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

The cabin in Seneca was perfect for our 3 family vacation. The house had everything we needed and the lake access was great. All sizes of life jackets , beach towels, and kayaks were so helpful. The rooms were clean and everyone had their own space. The room downstairs for the kids was great for the few times it rained. We loved this place

Peaceful and relaxing is what t our family felt once we arrived. We had 10 guests at the lake house and all were accommodated. We had a blast! Our daughter’s high school graduation getaway was a huge success. Thank you to Brandi for her quick responses and assistance throughout our stay. I read reviews prior to booking which stated Brandi was responsive as well as proactive. All I can say is, it’s all true. Brandi was an excellent host, we were missing a paddle for a kayak. We let Brandi know as per instruction and she followed through by ordering a new kayak paddle. It arrived an hour after we asked, truly awesome! The water level was shallow, safe for our 5 year old granddaughter to enjoy all the water activities as well, definitely a plus. I’ll say it again, if we could hug you we would. We had a memorable, wonderful time with family. What better place than at a lake house. We booked during the Memorial Day Weekend.
