Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Keowee

The views were beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice! The location was remote and peaceful, exactly what my husband and I needed! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of life.

Larry was incredibly responsive and helpful. Generous host and the perfect spot for a cousins' get together!

The house is a delightful blend of 1930’s craftsman architecture with modern conveniences. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The best aspect of this rental might be the hosts who were friendly, responsive and very thoughtful. From the thoughtful breakfast snacks to the extensive toiletries, we were made to feel very welcomed and pampered guests. This has been one of our favorite Air B&B stays.

This is a great place to stay. We had a full house and cooked a lot. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped for making meals there. There were spices and lots of pots and pans. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean and not worn. We never ran out of hot water. The hot tub and fireplaces were an added bonus. Stephen always replied in a timely manner the few times I had a question. The listing says the driveway is steep. It's spot on. Everyone had a great time, and we enjoyed our stay!!!

Great weekend getaway in the mountains! Location is just a short drive from downtown Highlands. Beautiful cabin and hospitality!

Stunning setting overlooking a beautiful lake; just minutes from town. Very private setting. Loved the history of the cabin- so authentic to the area.

We stayed at Aaron's home for my son's graduation from Clemson. We had 5 adults and 1 child. We wanted to all stay together to celebrate. This house was perfect for that. The guys loved the game room, the girls loved the cozy upstairs living room and I loved the kitchen so I could feed everyone! There were board games for the family to play and had so much fun! Aaron let me know ahead of time that the guys should bring their golf clubs, they did not listen to me and when we drove up, they began drooling over the gorgeous golf course this home is at. The Rock Golf Course was beautiful and well taken care of. So, if he tells you to bring your clubs...BRING YOUR CLUBS! This house was so lovely & the beds were so comfortable. We've stayed here multiple times and will return on our next visit to Easley. It's a VERY nice apartment, beautifully decorated, very quiet, always very clean, and conveniently located near all the things we visit Easley for. It's also so nice to be able to bring our dog. And, to top it off, Shannon & Dave are just super-nice people!! We highly recommend this apartment!!

Jen’s Hideaway is the perfect private spot to come back to after visiting Central and Clemson. It is extremely clean and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable. Jen is a friendly host. She even baked us delicious blueberry muffins.

Another relaxing and peaceful stay at Anna's home. The exceptional location close to downtown Highlands is perfect. A quality furnished and well equipped home is what continues to be our go to place when in the area. Anna is and has always been accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend and certainly will stay again.

Perfect spot for our somewhat last minute getaway. Secluded and quiet, but close to several towns if you want to have supper or listen to a little music. The water right off the dock is deep and swimmable, and the kayaks are great for an easy trip to the main channel of Lake Hartwell. The house itself is beautiful, and comfortable(an important combination). Very clean, with all the necessities that are often absent in vacation rentals(lake towels! coffee filters! salt!). We really loved this lake cabin, and can’t wait to go back.

Place was extremely clean,close to main st highlands but far enough away to be quiet, Becky responded within a few minutes, had a fantastic time in highlands and surrounding area,we travel to highlands often, first time using a airbnb loved it!!Becky's a great host to work with.

We celebrated my Mom’s 80th birthday at Tara’s place and it was an amazing week. We cooked for a huge crew, the kitchen had great amenities the outdoor spaces provided lots of fun for the kids and the sleeping options accommodated our large group. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. Our host even stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for us!

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.

Diana is an amazing host! The house is beautiful and very clean and organized, she has thought of so many things to make my stay very comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend her lovely home. Diana definitely went above and beyond.

We enjoyed our stay at Donna's place. Donna was great with quick communication and proactively offered us both early check in and late check out since the rental schedule could accommodate it. Our group of 8 was comfortable here, and we enjoyed some local hikes and a side trip to Highlands. The kitchen was spacious for lots of cooking. The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a really nice touch. Great views from the many balconies.
