Holiday rentals with a kayak in South Carolina

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

This home was the most peaceful retreat! We were using it as a wedding prep area and the minute we checked in we regretted we couldn't spend every minute there. Not only was the home spacious and spotless, but there were so many added thoughtful odds and ends to make your stay so easy (such as sunscreen or condiments you always forget to pack.) There are so many areas to relax as a family and just enjoy the views! The host was so responsive although we never even had a need to contact her during our stay, it was too perfect! We will definitely return!

Cute house with an amazing porch. Being right on the water was so convenient. The floating dock was my favorite place to sit and bird watch!

This is a nice house with a lot of really great perks. The golf cart, kayaks, fishing rods, beach equipment, and more made it easy to enjoy the week. The location is peaceful and ideal for fishing but not perfect for swimming or waves; we went to adjacent Hunting Island State Park for the kids to ride waves (a state park pass is included by the host). We enjoyed our week!

We were missing our family camp in Maine, and tried to find a similar experience in SC. This site checked all the boxes except one - memories! But we made some new ones and plan to return again and again! Thank you!!!

Can’t say enough good things about the place. My kids had a blast (almost 6 and 8). When i say they loved it, the LOVED it. The TV “room” upstairs is to die for. Must be a 100 inch tv on the wall. The pool is amazing, hot tub, pool table for the adults, awesome dock (neighbors that can deliver a boat for rent right next door - also super friendly) and great little arcade game set up (my son became quite infatuated with the golf game). Bonus to get to bring my pup who also enjoyed. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Plenty of beds (especially if your spouse leaves his CPAP at home). Could easily fit 2 families of 4/5 very comfortably. 10/10. Kids were ready to move.

Everything was great! We really enjoyed the stay and would consider coming back. I definitely recommend it to someone looking to have a vacation at the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking. We fished for a little bit. It was very relaxing.

We had a great little weekend getaway! The house was super clean and clutter free, which made it feel open and even bigger. The big windows overlooking the lake were a nice treat, our pups enjoyed looking at the wild life too! We enjoyed some time in the lake, we got a little muddy but had fun! The fire pit and lights were so cute at night!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This has been a wonderful cabin to stay in. The beautiful surroundings of the farm and the beautiful animals. I was made to feel right at home. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing location! Beautiful home and views. Very relaxing too. Our first time in SC. Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. Located only a few minutes from anything we needed or wanted to do. Our 2 teenage girls really liked the loft room with their own couch and TV. I’m glad we found Ebenezer park just a half a mile away for our little ones to play on a playground. I had asked about a crock pot being there and Jessica made sure there was. I’m a big coffee drinker so the different options and complimentary k-cups were wonderful! We had 1 issue with one of the TVs and Daniel was very quick to respond and help us get it resolved. We would love to book again if we ever make it back down to Rock Hill!

We enjoyed 4 nights with our boat and pups at the Sunset Gem. The cabin has plenty of parking, easily accessible and absolutely spotless. The dock was perfect for our boat and our dogs loved swimming from the little boat ramp area. We even jumped off the dock for a dip due to the unseasonably hot weather. We only did light meal prep while there and brought our own portable gas grill but found the kitchen had all the basic items we needed. We loved boating down to Martin’s landing for ice runs and dinner at the grill and Mexican restaurant. It was so convenient! There is a larger boat ramp at Sunset Park 100 yards away. We thought the property was just perfect for our needs and hope to return.

My family loved having a quiet weekend at the lake. We felt perfectly at home during our stay. Personally, I loved that there were memory foam pillows. This is one of the comfier beds I've stayed in with an AirBnB. My kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake. I loved how peaceful it was to sit on the porch swing and watch the sunrise come up over the lake in the morning or listen to the frogs in the evening. I highly recommend staying here if you have 4 or less people.

This was such an amazing stay! We were minutes from bars and restaurants and then a quick drive to downtown. Our dogs absolutely loved this space as well. The fully fenced back yard was a HUGE bonus. We would highly recommend!!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Highly recommend! We enjoyed a five night stay at Sabir’s cabin and commuted to Clemson daily as our son attended basketball camp on campus. I will say this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was warm and welcoming, spotless, and perfectly matched the description. There was no detail overlooked. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was supplied with more than basic necessities. While we didn’t end up using them, we were happy to find a toaster, blender, and griddle for pancakes. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were cozy. The lake was beautiful. We really enjoyed the swing on the dock and the sunbathing mat. We brought our own kayaks as my husband enjoys his fishing kayak but that was not necessary as Sabir had two youths kayaks and one tandem for use. Overall, it was an exceptional place and I cannot wait to return again soon.

We had a terrific time at the cottage on Lake Murray! The house was exactly as expected—clean, cozy, and perfect for our family of five. While the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to cook meals at home. The dock was a highlight—we caught fish every evening with bait from the nearby gas station. The location is ideal. I took long walks through the state park and always felt safe, even without much of a shoulder on the road. The kayaks and paddleboards were the stars of the week—my kids and I had a blast on the water every day. This was our second time renting from Theresa, and once again, she proved to be a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and full of great suggestions. The week was restorative, relaxing, and well worth the stay. Looking forward to coming back again!

The cabin in Seneca was perfect for our 3 family vacation. The house had everything we needed and the lake access was great. All sizes of life jackets , beach towels, and kayaks were so helpful. The rooms were clean and everyone had their own space. The room downstairs for the kids was great for the few times it rained. We loved this place

The house was perfect. I loved how clean everything was. My children loved playing in the basement. My husband enjoyed fishing at the lake. The little extras (paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, and laundry detergent) were so helpful as we were only there two nights and minimal hours during the day due to baseball tournaments. The only thing I disliked (which may just be a personal preference but also for sanitary reasons) was that there was no mattress protector on the bed. After looking through some linens in basement, I found one that somewhat worked for our bed. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and Linton Realty as they were very responsive and helpful when needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved the cottage. Right on the lake and very secluded. Great place to relax and get some work done.

Still 1 of my favorite places to stay. Enjoy being near the lake and it's quiet. House has everything we need as far as amenities go. Jesse is a great host. Never had any issues staying here.
