Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Galena

This was our 2nd stay at the Car Wash and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. They have Everything you need to enjoy your stay and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

The condo was immaculate and comfortable. Check in was easy and the host provided helpful information about finding the local store as well as a route suggestion to avoid exiting the neighborhood on a blind curve. Would definitely stay here again.

Lauren's home was lovely and she was wonderful to have as a host. She was proactive with sending check-in and check-out information and provided ample information prior to arriving. The house is super close to the main streets in Galena, which made it very walkable and easy to get back and forth while taking a break or dropping purchases before meals. It is on the corner and could be too noisy for some but it didn't bother us too much. You can tell it is an older home - some unevenness to floors and tight bathrooms - but lots of character and really convenient. All in all I would recommend and would stay again!

Brian and Jonny were very responsive and communicative from beginning to end. It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to find a pet friendly place during the start of the summer season. The house was clean, cozy and close to walking trails. Although we did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or hot tub (they have a wood burning fireplace for the winter), we enjoyed the screened in porch and open concept layout of the house, as pictured in the profile. The house is situated between two other houses blocked somewhat by the trees. I would describe as semi-private where we could see their back patio/hot tub/fire pit and vice versa. But whatever your personal comfort level, you can’t beat the proximity to trails, Owners Club, and easy access to Hwy 20 to Galena! We enjoyed our stay and exploring!

Perfect stay for our girls’ getaway! We stayed here to celebrate our bride-to-be, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing—just a short distance from the shops in Galena, which made exploring so easy. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy time together, and make special memories. Highly recommend for any group looking for a charming and convenient stay!!

My family of 6 was very delighted to travel to Galena for our first visit. What a beautiful area and historical town. Although this unit is remote and private it's still within an under 10 min drive from the amazing town and excellent amenities. The club house was a treat. The unit is perfect and I wouldn't change thing. Amazing weekend get away from Chicago.

Stayed here for a girl’s trip! The home is lovely. The game room downstairs was a blast. The deck in back was perfect for drinks and conversation at night and calm morning coffee in the morning! Todd is quick to respond if anything is needed. Would definitely go back

Even better than advertised. Sandy was wonderful and so was the home. We were very pleased with our stay and her communication. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the strip, around golf courses, wineries, great food, fishing, historical places, and kayaking. Thanks again Sandy, we will be talking to you soon I’m sure.

Only stayed ine night but it perfectly suited my needs while I was in town. Tanya was very responsive, responding within minutes of messages for check in and out. I would recommend this space to anyone passing through. I may stay again when I come back in town in a couple months.

Place was very clean and nice. I have knee issues so steps down to location was difficult.

We had a great stay in Dubuque. Linsy’s place was perfect for our stay. It was a perfect location and was exactly as described. Will definitely stay again.

Great apartment, coffee shop downstairs was great, walkable to the mill district

This was a very nice place for us. We got lucky so I can’t say for sure how quiet it would have been with someone above us in the other unit but this one was GREAT for us. The host was very good communicating with us and made sure we understood the special parking requirements. We would definitely stay here again. In fact we are considering a Christmas time visit.

Kate's Airbnb was so perfect. We decided on Easter night we needed to stop on our long drive home and I reached out to her. She had it ready for us in two hours! The location is perfect and I wished we had more time to check out the area!

Our family of six enjoyed our stay. Great communication. Great location, close to downtown and parks, and just a short drive to Galena.
