Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Galena

Matthew’s place was very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet area with lots of of fun things to do within 25min drive. Always very responsi and giving us great tips. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in that area and already thinking to be back!

We just finished our stay & loved it! This was perfect for our group of 4 ladies. We each had a private bedroom & 3 bathrooms were a huge plus. They even provided makeup towels & fully stocked shampoo, conditioner, & body washes in each bathroom. The screened in porch was fantastic! We spent most of our morning & evenings there. The hot tub was great, it was strong from the chemicals & we did get itchy so a shower immediately after was necessary. If you need some kind of noise while you sleep, you will need to bring your own fan. It is in the woods & gets very quiet! I purchased a small fan & it worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable with tons of pillows & plenty of blankets. We had tons of wildlife around us everyday. Flocks of turkeys in the morning, even a fox! Very relaxing after busy days in town. This property was perfect for a small group or family who would like a smaller home with plenty of privacy in the woods as well as in the home! We would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying here and it was wonderful. Always a pleasure, the hosts are great and very responsive. The house is perfect for a getaway in Galena with tons to do, and just minutes from downtown.

My friends and i had an amazing time! The house was very clean! We’re a busy bunch and there was so much for us to do at the house! The location was perfect everything around us was no longer than 10 mins. Lisa was very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again it was a blast!

The house was amazing! Not only did it accommodate the whole family but it had a great dining room/kitchen to allow us to cook breakfast and relax with some coffee before heading into town. It's in a great location and has a perk of the Taphouse right below it (can you say perfect for late night beers?!) Miss Kitty went above with amenities and overall aesthetics of the house. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a larger house in Galena.

This place is awesome! We came with our baby and dog and it was perfect for all of us. Place was the perfect size for us and had an everything we needed. Great location close to downtown Galena and other activities. Comfortable bed and it was great to have 2 bathrooms!

Jamie’s rental, Serenity Woods is a tidy 2BR home in a cul-de-sac with four other very similar homes. It’s very clean, peaceful, and attractively decorated. The best features for us were a bed/bath combo upstairs and a bed/bath combo downstairs. The patio in back is private and wooded, nice for reading and relaxing. This is a modern, clean & restful space, but it’s still convenient and close to Galena’s recreational choices. Jamie communicated promptly with us on questions and issues. We truly enjoyed our stay there and left eager to return again!

What an adorable cozy cottage! Our family of 4 loved it. It was a pleasant surprise to discover toys and activities for the kids when we arrived. We stayed during the Hot Air Balloon Race weekend and this was a great location to it. Downtown Galena took about 13 minutes to get to. Cottage was clean and comfy. We also went to the pool as part of the amenities and the kids had a great time! Thank you so much!

Stayed for a long weekend with three friends! Such a wonderful quiet and cozy place to stay! Nancy was very responsive and friendly! The house was clean and the natural light was so wonderful. Would definitely like to stay at the Piccolo House again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was sparkling clean, had everything we needed and was so cozy and peaceful. The proximity to downtown was perfect and we really enjoyed using the indoor & outdoor pool in the Owners Club. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
