Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Burton

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We had the best weekend at the cottage. Easy, quick drive to downtown highlands. Some highlights - The pizza oven was great for making pizzas, grill was fantastic for grilling steaks, fire pit for s’mores and the Hot tub was used several times. The kids loved the bunk room. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. We hope to be back soon!

Place was beautifully furnished and equipped. It was also very clean. Check in went smoothly. Check out was even easier. The location was close enough to Helen to enjoy the town while far enough away to be private and close to nature. Very close to Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

Joan's place had everything! I've stayed at over 65 Airbnbs and this was definitely in the top 3. if you have the luck of finding it's available, just book it!

We had a nice stay at this Airbnb. The host was very kind and communicated quickly and clearly throughout the process, which we really appreciated. The house was clean and comfortable. While we did experience an issue with no service during our stay, the host was very understanding and promptly credited us, which showed great customer service. Overall, a good experience with a thoughtful host

We had an amazing time visiting even despite the weather unfortunately. We were informed prior to our visit that Google maps may not be exactly correct however with their instructions it was spot on! It couldn't have been any easier! I've stayed in the area previously & was pleasantly surprised that even with the property being located in town how private & peaceful it was! The hot tub was a great addition as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again with the host as she was great with communication no matter what the situation was. I did learn this trip that many people don't realize what the area has to offer from previous visitors or current ones I had spoken with including locals! I would recommend future visitors a few things .... Bell Mtn., Marina Station Water Park, Amicalola Falls, a few beaches in the area, some gold mining tours, hiking trails, Helton Creek Falls, Rock Shop on HWY 17, Helen, GA (lots to offer) & Atlanta is close enough for a day trip as well!

Will be coming back to this space!! So beautiful, every detail and amenity was available and thought through. Felt right at home & was able to bring the pups! We forgot a water bowl & Lindsey had one ready for us when we got there with plenty of paw towels and doggie bags!! Also, expect a pretty steep driveway! We have a 4-WD and AWD vehicle and had little to no problems. Thank you to Lindsey for offering this amazing space !

Would definitely recommend this cabin. Super convenient to Helen, easy access, not too far up the slopes, and easy exit with the lower driveway. This is not a luxury cabin. It is compact and enough for a couple and a pet. But the value for the stay is spot on, Roy is super awesome, and I would stay again.

Location, location, location! Everything is within walking distance. We loved leaving our car and just walking out the door. It's right above a restaurant so the parking lot does get crowded, but you do have a designated parking spot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tubers in the river. At night all the buildings are lit up and the view is great. The rental itself was perfect for what we needed. The listing doesn't mention it, but it does have a hairdryer and washer/dryer inside. Huge comfy bed. Overall a great stay!

Don was so helpful and kind. He and Renie truly go more than above and beyond! The apartment was lovely with an incredible view. It was extremely clean and well stocked. It felt private and peaceful the entire time. The hot tub was very relaxing, and loved the spacious shower as well. The beds were so comfortable. We appreciated our parting gift and assistance with our luggage. We cannot wait until next time!

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

We booked this airbnb because we were rafting on the Ocoee. We were 5 minutes from Cherokee Rafting, our outfitter of choice, so very convenient. Our group was very comfortable and had plenty of space with 2 bedrooms. We used the kitchenette to prepare some simple meals and chose to eat out our dinners in Cleveland- 20 minutes away. We enjoyed sitting by the river in the evening and my husband enjoyed the patio in the morning. The property is well taken care of and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

This is at least my 3rd time visiting David's place. Amazingly peaceful, comfortable, restful spot. I knew I would get the peace I needed. You would never know they are upstairs, unless you wanted to chat. This is a mountainside gem.

I stayed here for a mini solo getaway and it was perfect. So peaceful and everything felt like luxury. The organic lavender essential oil and diffuser in the bedroom made sleep even better in the big and cozy King bed. My phone service was a little spotty but the WiFi connection was strong to help with that. Estie was so kind when I arrived while her family was playing outside. I felt at home coming and going as I pleased. Yes, you do hear the kiddos upstairs sometimes playing/running around, but it really wasn’t noticeable or bothersome. I will definitely be back here again one day!

Jennifer was a great host and her condo was perfectly situated in Sky Valley. It looked recently remodeled and the entire condo was spotless. The tub and bathroom was so clean, as well as the bedding, living room, kitchen, you name it. We loved our stay here and loved that it was quiet & peaceful, but not totally secluded. My husband and I felt really comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our time overall there. We didn’t super LOVE the sleep we got on the bed, but we prefer softer mattresses and sleeping on a king size bed, so I think that contributed to it. It felt like a great quality mattress though and I think others would love it. Loved this condo & I would stay here again if I get the opportunity!

Good location, clean, cute, everything we needed

This Young Harris condo was a great stay for our family while participating in a wedding that was at the Brasstown Valley Resort a few minutes away (nice golf course there too). This condo was a perfect home base for us and we loved the large deck, the lake and mountain views and the proximity to the resort and other sites around Young Harris and Hiawassee, like the Crane Creek Winery and Bell Mountain Park (VERY steep drive not for every car or driver, but spectacular views ... we even saw a bald eagle). Amy and Kyle were great communicators and had very good suggestions. The kitchen was particularly well stocked and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again and would love to explore the area more. I will note that the 4th bedroom, which is well described in the listing, really is more of a sun room, but would be a perfect "bedroom" for 1 or 2 children. We did not use the room, but the window views of the lake and mountains in it are the best in the condo.

This cabin in Suches is perfect for rest and relaxation! My husband and I slept amazingly well! The proximity to tubing and fishing on the river was perfect for us. We used the tubes and kayaks as well. We were visiting to learn about the area and the owner Billy was an amazing host and guide to North Georgia. He even picked us up for one of our tubing trips!

Very happy with this condo. Close to downtown Helen with lots to do day and evening. Even with the accurate pics, this place exceeded my expectations.

Darlene was a great host and the house was excellent. we We enjoyed the views and privacy. the pontoon boat sunset cruise was enjoyable and the activities were good. we were disappointed in the meal at the lodge and lack of walking paths around the reserve. the narrow winding roads made the impossible to walk.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 4 year old and our teenager. Both of them had a great time and had plenty of things to do that they both enjoyed, which is not usually the case with their age gap. The place itself had lots of toys and books for my toddler and her own bed. There were also games to play with my teenager as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the little details like beach towels, an airfryer, and a picnic basket. The screened porch was a favorite location for all us to enjoy. We even saw a bear one day from the porch! The resort was a blas!. We utilized both in the indoor and outdoor pools, the mini golf, and the lake. We had no problem finding good food at the restaurants around us and the store was super close as well. We spent half of our time at the resort and half of it out exploring the nature surrounding us. There were sooo many waterfalls to see. It is such a beautiful area, we will most definitely be coming back!
