amazing place to stay for a visit to the Bay Area. the backyard is a beautiful secluded Oasis with its own private hot tub. easily walk to the number of spots in the Mission District and Bernal Heights for some outdoor fun. they have a picnic basket packed up with all the supplies you would need so I highly recommend taking that over to Dolores Park on a sunny day to enjoy one of the best views in the city. also highly recommend looking through their recommendation book before hitting the town so you can get an idea of some cool spots to check out. I would 100% stay here again on another trip to San Francisco

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful garden, responsive host, ample street parking. Definitely worth the price. Plus there's a hot tub you can use after the end of a long day or before the start of one like how we used. MINUTES away from bars, restaurants, and shopping in Oakland. Great location. We had a quiet one night stay in this relaxing backyard tea house. Love North Berkeley and it was so nice to walk to our anniversary dinner at Chez Panisse.

Clean home, lots of space, easy access and amazing host.

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

The Aerie is definitely a hidden gem, we had such a relaxing time. I didn’t even realize a spot like this was available and affordable in Oakland. It was definitely worth hiking up those 108 stairs. Im definitely coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at Renée's. It was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. The place was spotless and the garden was beautiful. Communication was great and we appreciated the offer to check in early as we were driving around with luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was very nice. We have kids & grandkids in the Bay Area and like to visit as often as possible. The place was clean and comfortable but most of all very welcoming. And Ramil reached out to make sure our needs were met. If the need arises we would definitely stay there again

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

Beautiful, well maintained historic home in a convenient location within alameda. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants that are walking distance. We came with our dog and 6 week old baby and felt perfectly comfortable. We’d love to stay here again!

Will and Jane were great hosts for the two months that we were there! Their place was nice and clean, exactly as described. They were always responsive to our requests and invited our kids to play with theirs. The place had everything we needed, and they were able to provide a pack n play crib for our baby. I really enjoyed our time and appreciate them hosting us for such a long time!

Great place with a beautiful patio! A peaceful stay in the hills with a nice peek a boo view of downtown San Francisco and the bay. Cara is a great host, she is quick to respond and flexible. She is also a good resource for local, fun ideas. She even helped when I left items behind! This is a must stay.

While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. House is In a beautiful spot. Driveway access requires stopping on the side of the main street getting out, punching the code for the gate then making a u turn to get in to the drive way. The house was very open and spacious. Overall the family enjoyed the house.

Everything was perfect the house was amazing with its pool and hot tub… Everything mentioned was there but unfortunately the Air-conditioning wasn’t available for the first floor and the fans in the rooms where not enough for cooling. Lastly, Rahel the host was very welcoming and we had an easy check-in. Great communication she was very responsive to our notes…

This place is increíble! Hosts were friendly and proactive. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the view is unbeatable. The recommendations for hikes and restaurants were spot on. My husband and I had an amazing little getaway and we’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, gorgeous place to stay!

This house made our Thanksgiving holiday truly special. The interior boasts a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing design, while the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The layout is ideal, offering multiple sitting areas and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was the best-equipped of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, making it easy to prepare a full Thanksgiving feast. We connected our computers to the main flat-screen TV for movies, group crosswords, and other online games. My grandson was thoroughly entertained by the many toys provided, which was a delightful bonus. Both large tables—one for dining and one for activities—were perfect for our needs. If I could give this house six stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommended!

The house, especially the backyard, and the neighborhood in which it is situated, are stunningly beautiful. While guests do not have access to the master bedroom, the price for the rest of the house is well worth it.

We flew in to California from Arkansas on a Wednesday to attend a funeral on Friday and one on Saturday. Dale met us at the house and was very friendly and willing to help with any concerns that we had.He brought toilet paper,packs of new washcloths and body wash and I absolutely loved that.There were plenty of large clean white bath towels.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans and anything needed to cook with. The pantry was also well stocked but we ate out every meal.We only used the kitchen to make tea and coffee. He came and provided us with an extra parking pass for our guest.He offered to have the carpet cleaned while we was there but we opted to have the carpets cleaned after checkout.We was able to wash and dry our clothes with the washer and dryer in the garage.The beds were comfortable with nice clean linens and plenty of soft pillows.Check in was easy.We didn’t get to use the backyard at all because we was out and about every day.Roku TV’s in every room.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The location is excellent, especially if you have young kids as it is next to a great playground. Lots of transportation options nearby and incredibly walkable. Beds are super comfortable. It’s been exactly a year since our last stay, and my only complaint is that the place could use a thorough clean out. There were odd items left behind from previous guests (an electric toothbrush, multiple empty shampoo bottles, medications, etc). The chair in the living room is pretty wobbly and likely is missing a bolt or 2. We’d likely stay here again but hopefully the owner stays on top of keeping this place elegant and comfortable!
