Family-friendly holiday rentals in Contra Costa County

This is my second time staying here and it’s always great!! The place is amazing and Bradley is an amazing host! Will be returning soon one day!

We loved this home. The area was great and near everything and the street was nice and quiet for the area. The home was immaculate, the care to maintain this home is obvious! Next time we are in San Francisco, this will be our first choice for lodging.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful garden, responsive host, ample street parking. Definitely worth the price. Plus there's a hot tub you can use after the end of a long day or before the start of one like how we used. MINUTES away from bars, restaurants, and shopping in Oakland. Great location. Danielle place was so lovely she was Easy to book even after another prior host cancel on me last minute. Danielle's place Allowed us to book late night when a lot of hosts didn't respond or was sleep however she responded right away was very accommodating her place had everything we needed from essential to cookware to hygiene was very well stick in toiletries and was very good at making sure we had everything we needed she allowed us to extend when needed and her place was very clean and peaceful and near everything you could think of food, restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, quick easy access to several freeways and much more can't thank you enough danielle for such a peaceful stay we will be booking again in the near future

Loved returning to Skate and Jeannie's place after first visiting 9 years ago. The place was just as great as before though it was lovely to see the new additions to their arty garden, including the outdoor bathtub. I must also give a huge thanks for their above and beyond assistance in helping us to successfully track down some lost luggage.

Shea’s place was beautiful and spacious for our family of 5. Check in was easy and Shea was very responsive to all my questions about the home and neighborhood. We took full advantage of the backyard with hot tub and ping pong when we needed a break from sightseeing. There was a fair amount of noise from neighbors and the street in the front of the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

We enjoyed our stay at Renée's. It was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. The place was spotless and the garden was beautiful. Communication was great and we appreciated the offer to check in early as we were driving around with luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was very nice. We have kids & grandkids in the Bay Area and like to visit as often as possible. The place was clean and comfortable but most of all very welcoming. And Ramil reached out to make sure our needs were met. If the need arises we would definitely stay there again

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

Cindy’s AirBnB in Berkeley was in a great location, quiet and with a beautiful view of the bay. The street it was on was narrow but parking was always available. The studio was spacious with a kitchen, fridge, cute mini toaster oven, and dining table. Cindy communicated well. We felt right at home and will certainly be back if available.

Great place with a beautiful patio! A peaceful stay in the hills with a nice peek a boo view of downtown San Francisco and the bay. Cara is a great host, she is quick to respond and flexible. She is also a good resource for local, fun ideas. She even helped when I left items behind! This is a must stay.

Beautiful stay and wonderful hosts. The backyard was so dreamy I felt I was in a well manicured jungle. Great place for dogs especially.

Great quiet place for stay. Everything you need is nearby and you always can request delivery right at your doorstep even though it's 2nd floor (we ordered a lot of things from Amazon, Safeway, eBay, AliExpress). Great kitchen and fast internet. And ofc the great host - Ranen was always in contact and show us everything around the place and the city. We have everything what we need to start living there. It's been a great pleasure to stay here for 3 months especially with such a great always positive host. P.S.Beautiful trails nearby is what you need especially with a baby.

Joshua's home is the perfect family stay in the bay area. It is ideal for all ages from very young to older as there is something to do for everyone in the area. The neighborhood is extremely walkable with many lovely restaurants and shops near by. The house has a very comfortable layout for a group and had everything we needed. communication with host was instantaneous.

This house made our Thanksgiving holiday truly special. The interior boasts a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing design, while the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The layout is ideal, offering multiple sitting areas and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was the best-equipped of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, making it easy to prepare a full Thanksgiving feast. We connected our computers to the main flat-screen TV for movies, group crosswords, and other online games. My grandson was thoroughly entertained by the many toys provided, which was a delightful bonus. Both large tables—one for dining and one for activities—were perfect for our needs. If I could give this house six stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommended!

The house, especially the backyard, and the neighborhood in which it is situated, are stunningly beautiful. While guests do not have access to the master bedroom, the price for the rest of the house is well worth it.

We flew in to California from Arkansas on a Wednesday to attend a funeral on Friday and one on Saturday. Dale met us at the house and was very friendly and willing to help with any concerns that we had.He brought toilet paper,packs of new washcloths and body wash and I absolutely loved that.There were plenty of large clean white bath towels.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans and anything needed to cook with. The pantry was also well stocked but we ate out every meal.We only used the kitchen to make tea and coffee. He came and provided us with an extra parking pass for our guest.He offered to have the carpet cleaned while we was there but we opted to have the carpets cleaned after checkout.We was able to wash and dry our clothes with the washer and dryer in the garage.The beds were comfortable with nice clean linens and plenty of soft pillows.Check in was easy.We didn’t get to use the backyard at all because we was out and about every day.Roku TV’s in every room.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The location is excellent, especially if you have young kids as it is next to a great playground. Lots of transportation options nearby and incredibly walkable. Beds are super comfortable. It’s been exactly a year since our last stay, and my only complaint is that the place could use a thorough clean out. There were odd items left behind from previous guests (an electric toothbrush, multiple empty shampoo bottles, medications, etc). The chair in the living room is pretty wobbly and likely is missing a bolt or 2. We’d likely stay here again but hopefully the owner stays on top of keeping this place elegant and comfortable! We had a great stay - the place was the perfect space for our visit, and the location can't be beat! We got great instructions from the hosts, and the friendly cats were an added bonus to our entire SF experience. Would definitely stay again!
