Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lafayette

Mary and Jason’s place is beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The kitchen is well stocked, with numerous extras. Location was really good for us, as we were visiting family in Lafayette; and it is close to hiking trails in Briones park. We hope to be back in the future.

Steve’s place was great! Most of all we loved the location with easy, flat, walkable access to all the great restaurants and shopping in downtown Walnut Creek. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, with pictures/info as described. Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again!

The Walnut Creek house is in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. It's a nice place to walk with lots of friendly neighbors. The house is spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for doing yoga. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice coffee making station. The host was extra courteous by reaching out to make sure we were comfortable. It's a short drive to downtown Walnut Creek for lunch at our favorite restaurant, Dumpling Hours, and other shopping. It's a great place to stay; we'd enjoy coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve’s house. Everything was great from check in to check out. Comfortable, spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the back patio and the close proximity to downtown. We appreciated the excellent communication, the ease of entry and parking in driveway. We hope that we will be able to stay here the next time we visit Walnut Creek!

I’ve stayed here twice and would happily stay again, beautiful clean house in a quiet area, close to shops, parking and can walk to train station.

Stayed here with family. The backyard was our favorite part- we had a toddler in the group that could run around play while we hung out on the deck. House was beautiful and modern. The local area was peaceful, we saw lots of local wildlife on the hill which was fun to sit and watch with coffee. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my mom’s birthday! The home was clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Duke was incredibly kind and accommodating—he even allowed us an early check-in so we could set up for our small family dinner, which meant so much to us. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Walnut Creek. Thank you, Duke, for helping make this celebration so special!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a few blocks from our favorite Cheeseboard Collective Pizzeria and within easy walking distance to UC Berkeley. We were in town for a wedding and needed a family-friendly place nearby, and this home checked every box and more. The space was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The bathroom was especially impressive—clean, well-stocked with soft towels, and featuring a beautifully laid-out shower and hot tub that made winding down in the evenings a true treat. The kitchen was pristine and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy meals during our stay. Traveling with little ones can be challenging, but this home made it easy. There was even a pack 'n play ready for our infant, which was such a thoughtful touch. The layout of the home was comfortable, cozy, and made our time there feel like a true home-away-from-home. Highly, highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Berkeley

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Easy walk to Lake Merritt or 12th St BART stations. One block from Lake Merritt. Quiet building. Perfect.

Pamela’s home was a home Away from home . Very comfortable amenities, tastefully furnished , fabulous king bed and spacious bathroom . Pamela had thought of everything a guest might need or want . The apartment was private and quiet and the area felt very safe with lots of nice neighbour restaurants only a 10 minute walk away . Easy public transport options as well . A great stay!

Great location, street parking was pretty easy, very comfortable & clean place

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

Amy met me to give me the keys and walked me through the condo to explain everything. It was a very personal approach. She also reached out to me the first morning to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Everything was spotless and very high end. The place was very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the patio. I would highly recommend Amy's place to anyone looking for a base to enjoy San Francisco. I intend to stay again the next time I need a place in San Francisco for a few days.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

Ehson's place was a little haven during our stay in San Francisco, located in a wonderful neighborhood. As with any old building, you might hear the upstairs neighbors sometimes, but it's all absolutely worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. The sunset from the rooftop terrace is addictive. It’s a great spot: you can walk everywhere, and the cable car is right there. There’s also a great little grocery store on the corner, and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.
