Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Madeleine, Nice

Sarah’s apartment is absolutely amazing ! Amazing location in heart of the old Town and the apartment itself is impeccable with lovely rooms and amazing decor. Frankly we were amazed with the quality of the entire place. The kitchen is really well equipped and has absolutely everything you would need. The only downside was that one week was too short and we hated to leave ! Do not hesitate this place is a true gem. Patsy x

This is one of those places where you get what you pay for: it is in a great location (convenient to train station; great views; above the promenade in the heart of old town); it is a great unit (very clean; all rooms were very spacious; and surprisingly really nice artwork throughout); and the host Jonathan was everything you would want (he was very responsive; provided clear instructions; and was very pleasant to communicate with). We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Viellefranche.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

We a great time at Christophe's place! It was so beautiful and peaceful. There were lots of local restaurants and his wife kindly gave us a recommendation for somewhere to eat seafood. She was especially lovely because she allowed me to practice my limited French! Christophe's son took us out on his boat for snorkeling and exploring the Cote D'Azur- a truly unforgettable experience! Thanks everyone!

Phil and Emmanuelle were great hosts. When we arrived, they offered to drive us into Vence to show us around which was super helpful. We shared a drink with Phil as well as he told us about the area and gave amazing local recommendations. The property is very peaceful; a short 30ish minute walk to Vence, or to St. Paul de vence in either direction. We loved our stay. Recommended

Raymond and Anne share with guests their beautiful home, but they are exceptionally warm, interesting, and charming people to meet. It was an excellent combination for a magical and memorable vacation to Monaco. I would not go back unless we can stay with them again! Besides the amazing views, refreshing pool and clean jacuzzi, there were even fireworks several of the nights over the bay! Our hosts generously left wine, snacks, and coffee in the unit, as well as a fully stocked bathroom. More than anything, we really loved spending time with them. Highly recommend this AirBnB!

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved swimming in the pool to cool off after sightseeing in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils to cook in the outdoor kitchen. The setting is beautiful with a fantastic garden with interesting plants and flowers and a view of Nice and the sea on a clear day.

Sylvie welcomed us very nicely even though we were four hours late. We immediately felt comfortable in the very pretty garden, which was made and cared for with love. The apartment, which is very stylish and spiritually furnished, includes everything you need or could need. We were happy to use the spa, especially in the blazing sun as it is in the house and offers a very nice view. A private parking space in the quiet, private location completes the pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The apartment is really exactly as described. It is sparkling clean and one of the best equipped apartments I have spent my vacation in. Although the flight was 4 hours late, I was very warmly welcomed at midnight. I was greeted with rolls, butter, coffee, jam for the next morning, and even a bottle of wine. Nathalie had kept a parking space free and gave me useful tips for the area. I also enjoyed the balcony and the quiet location. The bus stop is 3 minutes away and from the train station you can quickly reach all places on the Cote d'Azur. I would definitely recommend the apartment for 1-2 people. You will quickly feel at home.

Perfect location to explore Nice. The apartment was in a great spot close to the beach, train station, and tram spot. Great restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

Our stay at Florence’s was beautiful. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated, bright, and comfortable. Florence and her friend who welcomed us were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

This place is such a gem. It’s spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. It would be very comfortable for a long term stay, too. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning perfect, and it’s a peaceful and private location. The apartment itself has so much personality and charm. Edith was incredibly responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Can’t recommend enough!

Our experience with Khadija's rental exceeded our expectations. The Airbnb itself was adorable and I couldn't get over with how many useful items it included. There were spices and other cooking items to use at our leisure as well as games to play under the TV. The unit also included two TVs and access to Netflix which was great for unwinding at night before bed. The patio was a very nice feature and all the furniture was comfortable. My partner and I actually both slept the best we have in a long time on the bed there! This was our first of 3 Airbnb's during our vacation in France and now that we're back home I can say that this was the only Airbnb that we truly enjoyed. It was comfiest, quietest, cleanest, and had the most amenities. The only downside was the location. We found that there was not good food and not much to do in the area so we had to take transit in order to do anything we had planned for and to eat. Other than that it was an amazing experience!

Dear Frederique and dear Olivier, we already miss your beautiful and characterful apartment! Eight days of Nice seemed to us for a long time, but were far too short. We would like to immerse ourselves in the exciting and friendly neighborhood and the amazing architecture of the city for much longer. And walking on the water, sitting on the beach with a glass of wine, enjoying the good food in small restaurants... Nice will definitely see us again and if we are lucky, also your apartment :) Thank you both for always fast and accurate communication and Olivier for picking up at the tram station, for the suitcase service in the stairwell(!!) and the bottle of rosé to welcome you. You're a great host!

I'm leaving this in Korean because there are no reviews from Koreans! It's exactly the same flat as the photo. It's small, but it has everything you need, and the host is very good at managing it. It's a platform that feels like it's doing well. Above all, the host's response was very fast, and I was so happy that he actively responded to my inquiries and needs. The advantage is that all the famous places, such as Masena Square and Old Town, are within walking distance, and if I had to point out a disadvantage, it was the sofa bed... it wasn't that comfortable. However, this is a common feature of all sofa beds, so those who have not slept in a sofa bed may think that it is especially uncomfortable! Recommended for those who want to stay in Nice, where accommodation is expensive, but want to stay at a good value!

I had a weekend stay in nice with my wife and Jeremy's place was a great choice. The location is the best, and it even had a great view for 9ur breakfasts. Highly recommended

Excellent location, the house was as described, the hosts were accommodating and thoughtful. Excellent house for children, the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The property looked new and very well looked after. It was out today time on Air B&B and we ve been very impressed.

This Airbnb surpassed all expectations! The garden is designed like a fairy tale paradise, with hydrangeas and lush trees artfully arranged—every corner is worthy. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling ocean views are breathtaking, waking up to the soothing sound of waves in the morning and falling asleep under the glow of sunset in the evening. It was the perfect finale to our island getaway.

We had a winderful night at this villa. The bost was an amazing women who let ys to be flexible for check-in and check-out. Warm welcoming with her family. At the end, a great green tea from the host ended our journey over there. Hope to see you and your amazing villa again !

This was our third time staying at Valerie’s house and we loved it as much as we did on our previous visits. Beautiful house, garden and the pool is wonderful. The villa is very well-equipped and clean and the communication is always prompt and helpful. We’ll be back next year!

In short: Great, clean accommodation that has everything you need. Very nice host. Beautiful surroundings at breakfast, supermarket, restaurants and beach all within walking distance. So we'll be happy to come back!

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Villefranche. The house is set up perfectly for a family gathering and stands up to the pictures. Well located in the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer, it served as a great base for our family to explore the area around Nice.

We have had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s home. The house was beautiful and particularly suitable for our family stay with a small baby. He was very accommodating answering any queries promptly. The information instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was hot and the air conditioning was very welcome. We were a group of six and the house was very spacious with plenty of room for three couples and a baby. We would like to thank Philippe for hosting us. We have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday at Cagnes sur Mer.

Chrystelle was very approachable throughout, from booking, through our stay until our leaving. The place is beautiful, so is the whole property very well taken care of. The chapel lacks nothing, was spotless and the guests await a proper folder with detailed information about Grasse. Chrystelle is very warm, sophisticated and a respectful host.
