Pet-friendly holiday rentals in la Jolla Shores Beach

This was my first time searching and booking a place to stay using Airbnb and I found a winner! The house was bright, clean, spacious and comfortable. I loved the open kitchen/living room, having two full bathrooms, and two bedrooms on either side of the living room. The outdoor patio and seating areas were lovely. I felt comfortable and cared for, and was appreciative of Shawn’s communication and consideration.

Great place and very clean upon arrival. I enjoyed my stay and it was very close to the beach! The host was very attentive and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio just steps from the beach—only about 15 feet away! The space is well-equipped with plenty of amenities and surrounded by family-friendly activities. It’s perfect for a family of four, especially with young children. The studio includes a pack and play and high chair, which made traveling with our toddlers so much easier. Everything was very clean and peaceful, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Ginger was kind, helpful, and very responsive. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

This was my 2nd stay at Marisa's properties and my daughter and I felt so at home because of the variety of household goods Marisa provides for her guests and we had the most amazing time. Not only is the house decorated beautifully and immaculately clean, but each guest room is so well appointed with many blankets/pillows and the most comfortable beds. My daughter loved the showers especially the large rainfall nozzle. The outside area is the star of this unique property as you feel like you are at a Hawaiian luau as you bbq or sit in the dining area and/or relax in the jacuzzi surrounded by a variety of eclectic decor and plush landscaping. So so much detail, care and energy is given at Marisa's properties, you will have the most amazing experience here. I am so thankful for her attentiveness as a host and she is so easy to communicate with and my daughter and I will definitely be back for trip 3 soon. Thank you Marisa!!! We had the best time ever.

Matched the photos and description, but you get more than expected. The place was “CLEAN” clean which is appreciated and makes the guest want to take even better care of it. Further, it is extremely organized and efficient. There’s a place for everything and everything in its place. Everything is labeled (if you look closely), and practically every need and detail has been thoughtfully laid out. The amazing seated view of Mission Bay and the Pacific are exactly as described. Yes, it is an older MCM home, but it doesn’t feel that way at all due to thoughtful updates and modern amenities. We highly recommend this place. We LOVED our stay.

Anthony’s apartment was just what I needed for my adult son and me. 2 twin beds in the living room worked well as another bedroom without the cost of a 2 bedroom. The kitchen is small but had all we needed to make bfast in the mornings. Helpful to have a parking spot in back and washer dryer in unit. I really enjoyed the location next to an urban park, pretty neighborhood for walks, and short walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Anthony was super helpful when we arrived.

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

I've had multiple stays at Rick and Robyn's place, there's a reason I continue to book with them. Love the condo, sleek and modern, yet incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend

We needed a place for 3 adults Sydnie’s place was so great from the first time I messaged Sydnie she helped me with local recommendation’s for restaurants/groceries/stores she sent me all the info I messed to make our stay wonderful. The house was everything that was shown. I would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely will be back.

Vivian and John‘s cottage was a perfect place for a three day stay. Very peaceful and calm with beautiful surroundings and close to everything I needed to get to. I would love to come back at some point.

This is our third time staying here and it gets better and better every time! Literally spent the whole trip on the property with so many activities which the kids loved. Last time we used it as a place to stay when we went to Legoland and it was tough getting the kids to leave! My daughter's favorite host was Kelsey and my son's favorite is Riley. My buddy is Calvin the Alpaca. A perfect getaway and Heather and her family are super welcoming and attentive to any needs. Can't wait for the next visit!

We had a great stay at Tigg’s place. It was easy to get around, very walkable to get food or go to the beach. The studio had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Everything was great from first interaction with Jason. When I arrived I called Jason and he gave me a quick overview of the place and amenities. Great location, close to a lot of great restaurants and businesses. Had my dog with me so it was a great property if you have a dog with an enclosed yard. I’ll stay there again when in area.

Beautiful rental. The sunset views were spectacular. Would definitely stay there again. We didn’t want to leave!

The house was great, very comfortable having 4 bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked, and the outdoor space was great. Location is awesome.

The location of this house is the big seller. Just a short stroll to the beautiful Windinsea beach meant we could walk the beach every morning and evening. Easy drives to downtown San Diego and to the Cove area with its wildlife, restaurants and shopping. The house and amenities are nice too. Hot tub was perfect and the upper deck has great views! The hot water heater was not working but they sent out technicians as soon as they heard about it and was fixed same day. And you do have to walk up a flight of stairs to enter the space so be prepared. The whole family had a wonderful time.

I just want to thank Mark & his staff for hosting & accommodating to the stay, being repsonsive & catering to our needs in any way and form. I dont say this lightly.. Felt right at home. Any special requests we asked, he delivered. Definitely was impressed with layout and feel spot on just like the pictures. This place has a cabin feel on the inside w/the wooden floors, modern kitchen & THE perfect view. Parking is simple. Everything was modern and easy. Highly recommend for any group of friends wanting a weekend get-away while feeling wholesome at the same time.

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. This air b and b was one of the best I have ever stayed at! The owner was great and very clear in communications. The house has everything we needed. The beach down the street was amazing! We loved walking to beautiful down LaJolla. Parking outside the home was super easy! I can’t say enough great things. If we are ever back in LJ, this would be our 1st choice of places to stay!

Wow! What an incredible home to spend time in with our family. The house was better than what we expected and we had high expectations before we arrived!!! The property was perfect for our first visit to La Jolla. Easy walk to coffee/shops/restaurants in the area and placed is a quiet neighborhood. The views from the patio were incredible. And everything was decorated so well. Technology was top notch, Sonos in nearly every room, TVs were easy to use with our apps, and the couches/beds were super comfy when we needed some downtime. Really appreciated all the tips from the property managers to help avoid guessing wrong when we needed suggestions for coffee/lunch spots/dinner locations. Always quick to respond and gave us last minute options to extend our stay a few hours to accommodate our family since we had a late flight out. Highly recommend if you have 6 people or less looking for the perfect Airbnb in La Jolla!
