Beach house holiday rentals in la Jolla Shores Beach

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb right on Mission Beach! The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the sand and perfect for a relaxing, chill vibe. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated, and very kid-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. The host, Evan was incredibly accommodating, even with some last-minute changes we had. He checked in to see if we needed anything and was always responsive and kind throughout our stay. We really appreciated the great communication and hospitality. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and would definitely stay here again!

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

Lori's place was a great spot near Mission Beach. She and her team were very responsive and friendly. They allowed us to check in a few minutes early to accomodate our toddler. They had a pack n' play, as well as plenty of kids books available. The rooftop was great, and the space was clean and as advertised. The stairs were a bit tricky with a two year old (there were a lot of them) but we knew that going into it. Overall, a family friendly spot with great proximity to the beach and local restaurants and coffee! They also had boogie boards and chairs for the beach, which was a nice bonus. I would recommend!

Excellent location which met our needs. Cute and cozy with a large great room. Dennis was very communicative by responding quickly to any questions that we had during our stay. We enjoyed our stay as we came into town for a family wedding.

Meron’s place was absolutely incredible! We’ve been coming to mission beach for 11 years and this was definitely one of, if not the best place we’ve ever stayed at. The location is perfect, the street is quiet, and the house is adorable. It is immaculately clean and has every amenity you could need. The attention to detail makes the house cozy and a comfortable landing place for a long stay. I could not recommend this cottage enough - perfect for our family! We will be back and we can’t wait!

We loved how close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, and coffee shops. We also enjoyed bringing our dog who loved the outdoor patio we would definitely stay again. Cute place and very clean.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Host made every part of our stay easy. From detailed instructions and directions on how to check in (easy!!), to info about the complex and what’s available (so much, and very close!), to answering the few questions we had, Alyssa made it easy! Place was clean with everything we needed easy to find (beach towels, LOADED kitchen, extra propane tank, etc). Ocean view from two of the bedrooms was breathtaking. Would definitely stay here again. Fair price for all you get.

Great experience from booking through to departure. The rental is as good as the pictures with great ocean views and stunning sunsets. The house was very clean and tidy, has all the amenities you need (including an entertainment system) whilst respecting the open plan, minimalistic feel. Drift Vacation Homes are very easy to work with. Communication was excellent, they offer clear instructions and are very responsive. We were afforded a late checkout ($50), this made our last day more enjoyable before heading to the airport. The overall price is in keeping with other rentals in this area, in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for. We would, without hesitation, book a rental through Drift Vacation Homes in the future.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

Kerri’s home is a fabulous place to stay if you have family, an event, or if you are just looking to tour the San Diego, Anaheim, Solana Beach and other areas. It’s perfectly located to make travel easy to many popular tourist destinations in the area, including hiking and sightseeing! Her home has the MOST wonderful amenities and she is so generous with all provided. We had more than enough comforts to stay our week as a family of 4. The home is set up perfectly to get ready for formal events (I loved the vanity) and have a backyard bbq. The bed toppers make the beds so comfortable- including the pull out couch. From the kitchen to the bathroom to beach fun to rainy days, Kerri has thought of everything. The home is very clean, and the location in busy Solana Beach has beautiful views of the ocean in the distance and the city below. The freeway runs along many neighborhoods in San Diego, but it is just a white noise hum. We loved eating outside everyday. Kerri is a wonderful host!

We so much enjoyed the shell cottage as a retreat. Easy short walk to lovely beach. Longer walk into town and shoppes when we wanted to stretch our legs. The home is exquisitely cute. Not spacious but charmingly cozy for three of us. Comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed the porch swing, rockers and outdoor dining area.

Roberta was extremely responsive and helpful. The instructions / procedures for the house were clear and totally accurate. The place was spotless and had all the great amenities listed. We had a wonderful stay!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s an amazing layout, comfortable, private areas that are inviting. The view from the front porch and the rooftop are fabulous. Clean. Everything you need and more. This really was one of my best Airbnb experiences. Super close to LEGOLAND. One right turn and you are there. Beach views and access. I would stay here again. I fact. I’m planning my next trip and will stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our baby and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable. Parking was a breeze with plenty of spots available right outside the entrance. The location is excellent - just a short drive to the beach and close to great restaurants. Rowena was an exceptional host, always responsive and helpful, even late at night. We accidentally left behind an AirPod, and she kindly mailed it back to us at no cost - such thoughtful service! Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Diego.

We had a wonderful "staycation" at Rosemont by the Sea. The home had everything and more: from bikes, beach chairs and boogie boards to customized blankets, coffee station and a record player with plenty of old school LP's. The owner thought of everything! The House Book came with very detailed instructions and wonderful suggestions of things to do nearby. The home is located a few blocks from Wind and Sea beach in a very quiet residential neighborhood. We loved the quick walk to catch the sunset and returned the next day to relax and watch the surfers. It's less than a 5 minute drive to downtown La Jolla where there are plenty of great shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed riding their bikes to the local Farmer's Market on Sunday morning. The house is in a perfect location to relax by the beach or take advantage of everything that La Jolla has to offer. I would recommend Rosemont by the Sea to my friends and hope to return again soon. Great place to find peace and walk to the beach in a place that seems like you’d have to drive. Turns out you can walk straight to the beach with your board. Jason was insanely chill and helpful. He was just walking his dog and took me on a great walk, guiding me on how to get straight to my favorite beach and back. Never had a host who gladly helped me like that. Comfy bed and pillows too.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Solana Beach - we felt completely at home and wish we could have stayed a few more weeks to just relax and enjoy the amazing weather. The unit had everything we needed. It's a beautiful and peaceful space. The neighborhood is also every nice, and walkable, though you'd probably want to drive to Solana Beach and Del Ray. We would definitely stay here again!
