Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in la Jolla Shores Beach

The house was beautiful and the beds were super comfy. We ran into a few minor issues, but the host was responsive, communicative, and quick to resolve everything. The highlight of the stay was definitely the backyard — we spent most of our time relaxing out there day and night. Great setup and entertainment. The host also accommodated us with a late checkout, which made our departure much more convenient. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Maria's place for a very quick trip and needed room for family members. It was perfect. Maria was wonderful about communicating and I truly appreciate her flexibility with family members checking in. The place is a great set up for children, too. My five-year-old grand daughter was with us, and she has games and other things for children to do, including boogie boards for when the weather is warmer. I would love to return sometime and actually spend a few more days enjoying the area. We were there for a graduation with a fast turnaround, and to be honest, I wanted to stay longer!

We had an absolutely perfect stay! The home was cozy, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked—perfect for our little family getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and everything about the space made us feel right at home. There were even board games for our entire family to enjoy! Meghan was a truly amazing host! She was so warm, welcoming, and responsive. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Our kids had the best time and have been asking when we can go back already! We’re so grateful for the memories made here and would return in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. This home was exactly what we were looking for. Our family gathered for a reunion, loved that there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms but also had an intimate vibe. Perfect for the grands with high chair, baby gates, pak and play and sand box! Proximity to beach, walkable neighborhood and close to coffee/ice cream was also a plus!

I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was exactly the peaceful experience I needed in such a hectic week! We spent so much time lounging around chatting, enjoying the view & the outdoors. Sooooo so so calm and quiet.

Our stay at the Blue Beach House was comfortable & quiet. The upstairs cottage was private, with a sweet covered porch and well stocked kitchen. Inside décor was creative & cozy. Colorful artwork and nice furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. Suzanne was available if we needed anything and very friendly. A great weekend stay. Karl’s Airbnb is a home away from home in a beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood!! We loved our stay here, from the decor, to the amenities and suggestions for restaurants and attractions, to the easy access to the beach and nearby gliderport, we had an amazing time! Karl is also very friendly and always responsive, which we appreciated. He sent thorough instructions beforehand to ensure we found the location, and everything was very easy to access. It’s just out of the way enough to be quiet, but places like San Diego, Coronado, and Encinitas are closeby for exploring! If you’re looking for a beautiful stay in a convenient location, this is it! We had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kitchenette. Parking was easy. The space was just right for two of us and we were able to relax each day after sightseeing. I enjoyed reading one of the books Anna had stocked in the room. Anna was easy to get a hold of and gave us recs for sites and restaurants.

This was just what we needed for our stay! Easy walk to the bay, and to surrounding restaurants. Quinn gave very clear instructions on where everything was.

We stayed at Leti's place in La Jolla and it was perfect. Family of 3 with a small child and we couldn't have ask for a better location. The restaurants were on the same street, then 2 blocks over was the beach for all day playing. There is a playground on the beach as well. Parking was vital since La Jolla is a busy beach. Nights were very quiet in La Jolla. We felt like once the sun went down, the street became quiet which was perfect for us. The apartment had a rooftop terrace which we loved and we ate all our meals out on the terrace. If we return to San Diego, we would definitely want to stay at Leti's AirBnB.

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

Angels place was a little rough to find at first, but it's a great little oasis in SD on the bay side. Responsive host and good amenities. Great to have chairs and blanket for the beach...beach towels would've been a nice touch. Overall, good experience in a nice centrally located place.

This was the perfect spot in SD! Ideal location to be able to get to a bunch of neighborhoods, sandwiched between Pacific Beach and La Jolla. Gorgeous space and super comfortable for a solo traveler or small family. I absolutely loved my stay here!

My fiancée and I enjoyed our stay here. We couldn’t have had a better location. It is on a quiet street but very walkable to restaurants, shops, cafes, and the cliffs/beach. We stayed for 9 days and both worked the whole time and never had any issues with the WiFi; it was very fast. The space is a little small for two people to take work calls from at the same time, but we made it work without any issues. Plus you can walk to and work from the nearby cafes if needed. The bed & pillows were all comfy. AC is a bonus, and there was a little fan to put bedside for hot sleepers like me. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and a basket of snacks which was a kind gesture/nice touch. There was also laundry detergent available for our use. The bikes are a bonus; there were a ton available the whole time & it’s a very bike-able area. Richard was great with communication and we felt right at home. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Kai is definitely a superhost. He went above and beyond to help my brother and I feel welcome in the neighborhood; he gave us many suggestions of activities as well as restaurants nearby. The bikes provided were great as we went on a nice bike ride along the beach and to some of the suggested local hotspots. The apartment was quiet but still a quick Uber ride to downtown and our other events. Kai was always willing to respond if I had any questions. Kai also worked with me as we needed a late check out to make it to a baseball game and store our luggage still before our flight. I definitely love this location and will be returning and recommending to others!

Location is wonderful short walk to the beach 2-2 min. Simon provided a beach bag, boogie board, beach towels, and beach umbrella, which made going to the brach easy and more entertaining for my 13 yo. Great stay.

location was perfect. peaceful. close to beach and shops. liked the layout of apartment. spacious not cluttered. easy to maintain.. appreciated having free netflix and amazon prime. .Lastly Cassandra, generous host. allowed extra time for checkout.

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful gem with views of Marine Beach area from balcony. Ocean air and sound comes wafting through this zen like oasis from the hustle and bustle. Well appointed with all one could desire. We relaxed watching the ocean on the balcony. Television and Wi-Fi worked great. Comfortable furniture including a massage chair that works great. If you need to escape stress this is just the recipe.

I couldn’t ask for a better location. Pacific Beach is probably one of my favorite beaches in San Diego and this condo is beachfront. The front of the building is just steps away from the wooden stairs leading right down to the beautiful ocean sand. Watch the surfers from your living room or walk outside and get some sun and feel the amazing ocean breeze. Kitchen was very accommodating with all you need to cook gourmet dinners. Bathroom shower had great water pressure and very relaxing. The two bikes were a bonus and we rode them daily. Just a ride away from the shops on garnet or go and relax at the bay which is not far either. Very nice condo and had a perfect, relaxing getaway.

Can't say enough positives about this place and its location. Bird Rock is so sweet--shops, restaurants, bakeries, wine and coffee shops all within a couple of blocks. Wayfair Bread--OMG. You can walk down to the ocean, strolling past 20+ million-dollar homes and watch the surfers. The apartment itself is super nice and comfortable, and very well appointed. It is also handicapped accessible (master bath). The parking is tight. We had a mini van as we needed to transport a wheelchair. It was difficult to get the car in and out of there because it's a narrow alley behind the unit where the garage is. Fortunately, we were generally able to find parking and there is a handicapped spot on the block. Overall 5 stars. Christiane was great and very responsive. Highly recommend.
