My husband and I stayed at Paula’s place for a night on our way to Saints. The house and gardens were immaculate, and the surrounding area was peaceful with only the birds singing and the pond full of fish and a frog. We slept well, with a comfortable bed and the balcony door open all night to keep us cool. We felt safe and at home. The kitchen was spotless and the bathroom was clean with a fantastic power shower. Although we didn’t meet Paula, she was very responsive through messaging and gave us clear instructions on how to find and unlock the house. We ate dinner at a local restaurant, which was fantastic. However, you’ll need to use a car to get there. We wished we could have stayed longer in this beautiful and quiet area. Thank you for letting us stay in your house. A hidden gem by the Seine We absolutely loved our stay in Jumièges – everything was simply perfect. The house is charming and comfortable, nestled in a peaceful, green setting right by the Seine. Watching my girls play in the garden with the river as their backdrop while I read my favorite book felt like a scene from a dream – quiet, healing, and deeply comforting. Balthus the donkey quickly became a friend to all of us (especially the girls!), and Naya and Gino were the sweetest companions. Pascal is an incredibly thoughtful and warm host. He provided us with clear, detailed guidance and local tips that helped us truly make the most of our stay. This place is a perfect base to explore the gems of Normandy – Honfleur, Étretat, Rouen, the Abbey of Jumièges and more. Every day brought a new discovery, and every evening brought us peace. This will definitely be my go-to hideaway any time I’m near Paris. Thank you, Pascal, for sharing this magical corner of the world with us 🍀☘️❤️💫
