Holiday rentals with lake access in La Crosse County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White House. We made the trip to visit family. We had a good friend want to join from U.P. last minute. I notified Kim(our host) as soon as I knew and she was completely accommodating. The house itself is perfect. They've done a beautiful job of updating AND keeping the "bones" and history of the house. Everything was clean. Easy "check in". Great location. Lovely scenery. Amazing and available hosts. Highly recommend if you plan on visiting Sparta. Close to everything but super quiet! Loved it! We will stay again next visit!

This place is huge! Three floors of usable space and four large bedrooms plus an office space. It’s very quiet and peaceful with lots of natural light. It is a little far from town but that can be a plus if that’s what you are looking for. It was very family friendly. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there is a bathroom and bedroom on the main floor but no shower. There was a washer and dryer available for use. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the use of your property!

The property was absolutely beautiful with many extras such as games, books, movies, and more. There were multiple baby/kid items such as a crib in the master bedroom, pack-n-play portable crib, high chairs, activity bouncy seat, and lots of toys! All the rooms were large wih big closets. We were a group of 12 traveling for a long family wedding wknd so it was nice to have closets in each room to hang dresses, suits, etc... Kitchen was very spacious and well stocked with cookware, bakeware, spices, coffee, crockpot, air fryer, just to name a few. The huge pantry was a bonus to hold our overflow items. If youre looking for a peaceful location for a large group, this house will meet your needs!!

It was perfect for what we needed. Glen was very accommodating and helpful in his communication. We would stay there again when we ever back in the area.

Great place to stay and relax

Megan was such a friendly and responsive host, and her home was the perfect place for my kiddos and me to stay when we were visiting family in Winona! The home has a beautiful, big fenced-in yard with plenty of grass to play in, all of the amenities that we needed, including smart TVs, all of the kitchen appliances we wanted, games and puzzles, and a nice long driveway. It’d also located just across the street from the lake, which is really convenient and so lovely! All of Megan’s amazing photography lining the walls is an added bonus :) We can’t wait to stay here again the next time we’re in town. Thanks, Megan, for giving my crew such a cozy and comfortable place to land!

This place was perfect for our group of ice fisherman. Right on the water and directly next to the bait shop. Lisa was very friendly and was easy to work with. 10/10, will be returning.

We enjoyed our short stay in your lovely location. The view of the Mississippi was great. And we would certainly consider staying there again when we visit the area!

We were looking for a two bedroom with kitchen and living space to celebrate the holidays. The Red Pines Air BNB was perfect. It was cute, cozy and comfy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The snow on December 23rd was perfectly timed. We live in Texas and don’t experience a winter wonderland very often. Watching the ice fishermen come and go was so entertaining! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the cafe and two meals at the Red Pines Bar and Grill with family and friends from the area. All meals were excellent! We hope to make our Christmas at the Red Pines a tradition. Thank you Corinna and Mike!

Cute, quiet motel room with cute cafe and restaurant in walking distance!

Loved this spot for our weekend getaway to the river. Great place to land after days of exploring. Even better to not have to plan meals because of the fantastic restaurants right on site. Our daughter enjoyed running around and playing on the property. The fire pit was great to relax by. The hosts and the staff at the restaurants were all very kind and accommodating. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Cafe was still open when we arrived and had a full bar, which was a pleasant surprise. Bartender made us feel right at home. Very friendly! We ate at the restaurant on site. Good food and delicious drinks at a fair price. Our hotel room was extremely clean. Cafe open the next morning for coffee and breakfast. So convenient!

The best deal on Airbnb in Onalaska wi. What a beautiful setting for an enjoyable family weekend on the lake. Everything we needed was in this sweet little cabin!! The host was helpful and responsive and we definitely look forward to staying here again!!

Comfortable charming house within a block from the trails on Lake Winona. Beautiful area with good restaurants and lots to do.

This lovely lake home was a pleasure to stay at. The location has beautiful surroundings, and is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are great...very responsive and helpful. And the home was very clean and full of everything I needed. I hope to return. Overall - 5 stars!
