Holiday rentals with breakfast in La Crosse County

Beautiful place to stay, very grateful to Carly for allowing us to stay at her home.

Carly’s place is everything as she describes and very comfortable. Hopefully it’s still available next year. I will definitely try to reschedule for a few days!

Very relaxing and comfortable! We used the porches as it was very nice out that weekend! We walked to the bar/restaurant on the corner and it was great to be so close. We cooked and used the kitchen and most everything we needed was there! We drove to Creekside Winery and a Brewery in the area and had a great time at both places. The big antique shop downtown was a great place to walk through on Sunday morning!

We stayed at Carly’s for two nights and had no problems and were very comfortable.

The driveway leads past a cabin, the main house, and the pastures with sheep, goats and one adorable pig! They provided farm fresh eggs and home baked bread, and homemade jams!--enough for all our breakfasts! We did pay for it as they are technically not a true B&B but it was very special to have such wonderful home food. The quiet was so rare. Just birdsong. No machines, no tractors even, just breeze and birds and the crowing of the rooster. And the purring of Honey the cat who was just a love bug. Hannah the Anatolian shepherd led us on a couple of walks around the trails. Absolutely beautiful and idyllic setting, we can’t recommend this place enough! The cabin is simple and comfortable. Just to our liking. Completely private and peaceful.

Steve & Nan were great hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From providing coffee, eggs, and fresh jam, any amenities we needed and being very friendly it made for a great stay. Their co-host was able to quickly respond when we forgot the door code too which was great.

loved the fact that this was basically a large studio apartment. good places to eat in the area wonderful sightseeing trails in the area as well. Luke was very responsive.

Apartment in Winona - Treetops Suite is a great getaway in a little college town. There is a spacious main room and open area kitchenette (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and the two bedrooms (one ?full-size? bed and then two twins) are cozy - not tight or cramped. The apartment was clean and quiet. They had some food (milk, eggs, bagels, oranges, PeanutButter, jam) stocked in the fridge. The step-in shower has very hot water that is not difficult to adjust to a warm setting. The apartment is located just off the Winona State University campus and the first night we stayed we walked downtown for dinner. The stairs to the place are moderately steep - as the hosts mention in the write-up. This is not an issue (and adds to the ambience) unless you have some mobility challenges. There are railings on both sides. Thanks. This would be my preferred spot to stay if I was passing through Winona again.

If you get a chance to book with Donna at Justin’s trails…do it. The place is very peaceful and is a great place to get away from busy life styles. Donna and Dawn are very helpful! A plus is that they are dog-friendly! We took our Basset Hound and Pug, and they also had a great time enjoying the land! Wished we had more time to enjoy the land but gives us a better reason to come back!

I would highly recommend the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast! I love charming historical buildings and this 170 year old building has been tastefully transformed into a bed & breakfast. There were so many thoughtful touches in the room as well as throughout the place. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio as well as in the four season porch. Grace served gourmet breakfasts each morning which was really a special treat.
