What a beautiful house. Very spacious, cozy and luxurious. We had nice weather and were able to enjoy the lovely terrace a lot. We also saw a moose on one of these evenings, very special. Rondane is a beautiful area, very different from the rest of Norway. And the communication with Ola was very fast and pleasant. Really a place to come back to!

We had a short but nice stay at the cabin! Definitely recommended for nature lovers! In the direct surroundings around the cabin, red deer and moose run, live the snow fowls, hare, gold pleves and the foxes, and many more species! You won't always see them, but there are plenty of tracks to be found. We even heard the shrubbing balts at night! All in all a very pleasant and quiet stay, with a beautiful view. If you climb further up to the top, you have a clear view of Jotunheim, Rondane and Dovrefjell (including Snøhetta). Also recommended! We had a lovely time. Thanks Herman!

The two of us spent a week in the cozy Ekornhytta and felt comfortable from the first moment! The house is very well equipped (also for more people), window views of the lake, fireplace and sauna provide the Norwegian feel-good atmosphere. In the area around the house there are many hiking trails, bike paths and trails with great views of Rondane and beyond. And the squirrel is not a marketing gag, it actually passed its feed station. :-) Communication with Sandra and Stine as a host is straightforward and quick!

What a great experience it was to spend a few winter days in this cozy hytte! Pink-coloured sky in the morning, skiing in fresh snow as well as on freshly prepared tracks, breathtaking views of the Rondane mountains, lazy evenings with warm food and books and even such rarities as the northern lights and nacreous clouds were the highlights of our stay. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful.
