Staying at Dan's place was a great experience! Dan is a very responsive host and offered to pick us up from the station upon arrival. He gave us local recommendations around Hakuba area and checked in with us multiple times to check if all was well. Really appreciated that. The area is quiet and you don't hear anything during the night. Recommended to rent a bike/car to reach Hakuba town easily. The cabin is amazing and the upper bedroom is very convenient!

Thanks to you, we had a wonderful stay.🙏 I stayed two nights to compete in the Kurobe Meishui Marathon, but thanks to the comfortable and clean environment, I was able to rest my body well before and after the tournament. The host, Mr. Takeuchi, was also a nice person, and I was always grateful for the prompt response. We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.Thanks for your hospitality!

This place is an absolute gem .Yoko San and family are really lovely and very welcoming and kind people, they welcomed me and made me feel completely at home. I was lucky to have dinner and breakfast with the family, and Yoko San made some lovely home made Japanese traditional food. Overall, very happy I booked this place, and will come back if I am visiting again. The place is a lovely 2 floor cottage, with the bedroom upstairs. Wide and spacious, lots of sunlight and the windows on all sides, with beautiful views of the farm lands and rolling hills. The place is beautifully decorated and very homely.
