Monthly Rentals in Kington

Had a wonderful stay at Jo’s! She made us feel incredibly welcome and looked after from the second we walked through the door. Her little cottage was everything we could have asked for and more. Gorgeous space, lovely location and a beautiful garden. Couldn’t ask for any more for a mini break and to easily get to Hay on wye for the book festival!

Judith was great, as I had not read that the oven was a small box type. I brought a massive lasagne and I think it was slightly beyond the oven’s capability. After 40 mins when it was still not cooked through, I messaged Judith and she put it in her oven. She knocked later with my steaming hot perfectly cooked lasagne and a smile on her face. She was very helpful.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Sitting outside by the stream in the evenings with a glass of wine and listening to the birdsong was the perfect way to end some busy days at Hay Festival (which was a pleasant 25 min drive through lovely scenery on very quiet roads). Superb hosts, helpful and responsive. The hut had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Would recommend!

Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.
