We had an amazing stay here! Perfect house for our group of 5 adults. It’s in a great location for all the Margate highlights (shell grotto, many great pubs and restaurants, Walpole bay, crab museum!) Really homely, comfortable house with everything we needed. Great outdoor space - loved having a bbq in the patio one evening. Stones throw from an Aldi which was a bonus too. Walk from the train station is so easy - google maps says 20mins but feels much less. Highly recommend for your weekend in Margate!

Barry's place for perfect for our night before le shuttle. It has everything we needed and was so nice to have eggs, bacon, cereal and milk supplied as we couldn't take some of things with us to France. thanks so much.

Just a lovely little sanctuary …. Beautifully decorated and just right to use as base in lovely part of the country … garden lovely n secure for dogs ( so that helps with the ‘chillaxing’!!! 😊😊

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

We loved our stay at Penella's place and would definitely use it again. We went in order to visit Rye which is beautiful but busy, and Penella's place is incredibly peaceful with the real benefit of onsite parking. There are amazing views and we particularly enjoyed watching some beautiful sunrises from bed! The Plough (a 5 minute walk) does delicious food and our top tip for Rye is the Kino independent cinema. It shows recent film releases viewed from arm chair seating with a stylish cafe/ bar as well.

My stay at this charming Airbnb in Ashford was absolutely wonderful. The space itself was adorable — beautiful gardens, historic charm, and cozy in a way that immediately made me feel at home. But what truly made this experience unforgettable were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel not just like a guest, but like a truly valued visitor. Their warmth and thoughtfulness created such a comforting atmosphere during my time away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. First time I've booked an Airbnb, and Jane was really helpful. The accommodation exceeded my expectations with Jane's attention to detail such as table and chairs tucked under the bed to use (I did use them); pillows and milk to suit my preference, and toiletries, snacks and breakfast items to help myself to. I felt very at home and as I visit Crowborough to visit family I will definitely stay again. Supermarkets and shops were about a mile walk away and easy to get to, with a pub serving food within a very short walk. Thank you Jane.

We had a fantastic stay. The guests house was fantastic lovely, Clean and peaceful. James was very helpful and provided great instructions for finding the property as well as great suggestions for food and drinks near by. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends and family.

It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

The property itself was perfectly clean and well thought out and had everything you needed. We would have preferred blinds in the living area, as didn’t feel very private, but that’s a personal preference. We did not realise how close to the busy road we would be and that there was a home office attached to the property, but the view definitely made up for it.

Stayed before, will stay again. A lovely little apartment within a 10 min walk to the local beach and some lovely views. Apartment spotless, well laid out and has a lovely courtyard to enjoy the sun and cool evenings.

Just returned from spending 6 days in the Granary, Caroline was super responsive and her directions were easy to follow and accurate. Unfortunately i didn't get to meet Caroline as she was away. The Granary was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The downstairs shower was great, we didn't try the upstairs shower. The location was very quiet and peaceful, but easy to get to where i wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend the Granary.

We stayed at Gabrielle's converted barn a few weeks ago and in a word... amazing. The venue was immaculate and perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the cottage and utilised the field one of the evenings. Gabrielle's husband (never got his name!) was helpful and gave directions to some places in the locality as well as being very happy to show us the field connecting to the garden. A small mention of their kids who were fantastically mannered! If there was one complaint... it would be that this venue is undersold! The green space and reservoirs are beautiful. It's truly a gem and we will be hoping to stay again soon!!!

Perfect location for what we needed. Conveniently situated opposite a lovely pub with excellent food. Looking forward to returning next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sonia, and can’t recommend this place highly enough! We are very frequent weekend away-ers and this is one of favourite stays so far. Sonia was super friendly and welcoming, and messaged us in advance with some helpful instructions to find the place. The barn / annex is absolutely perfect - really well laid out and had absolutely everything we needed plus some goodies like bread, marmalade and milk which we really appreciated! I don’t think the photos do it justice, but it’s a great space and was spotlessly clean too. It’s clear to see that Sonia puts a lot of effort into the Airbnb. Her own property is immaculately kept too, with a garden so stunning that I asked if I could take a picture, which makes the surroundings really stunning. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would definitely suggest others choose this place for their stays too!

Eve was a lovely host and her cottage was exactly what we needed for our New Year getaway. The fireplace and heaters ensured it was always cozy, and the property was located a stone’s throw from the beaches and train station too. We would 100% come back and stay again. A perfect little studio with the most amazing view. Secluded and private, but also walkable to the local pub and shop. Great running routes nearby and so close to Maidstone if you need anything more. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Liz and Barry’s air B and B for two nights as we wanted to get away from our usual hustle and bustle! The place is amazing and the view out to sea is unbelievable. The photos don’t do it justice! The place is all on one level and my toddler loved playing on the enclosed balcony. It was a very safe place to stay and we very quickly felt at home.
