We are on the outskirts of Bethersden village which has 2 pubs, village shop/post office and an Artisan Butcher. There is plenty to do in the area villages, vineyards and only 20 miles from the fantastic beach at Camber Sands. Rye and Tenterden are close by and definitely worth a visit. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.
