We had a truly wonderful stay at this home. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out, perfect for families. The privacy of this place is great for those who looks for an out-of-city location! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s clear they’ve put real heart into creating a comfortable and inclusive environment. We felt not just accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Would absolutely recommend this stay to families looking for a place that’s both magical and mindful.

Akizuki truly stole our hearts. We were a group of 8 friends, and staying at Yama-san’s place was like finding a second home in the middle of nature and history. From the moment we arrived, Yama-san and his kind friend went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were so warm, helpful, and genuinely thoughtful. He gave us incredible food recommendations (still dreaming of those meals!) and supported us with everything we needed. The house was super cozy, beautifully maintained, and had every little thing we could’ve asked for. One of the most unforgettable moments? Watching fireflies glowing in the night right outside—it felt like a dream. We left with full hearts and big smiles, already planning our return. This is such a beautiful house in a quiet and quaint neighborhood in Dazaifu. It really felt like a second home to me and my family- cozy, spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. The host is also very kind and attentive to our needs and even went beyond to make sure we have checked in smoothly and I really appreciated her kindness. The house is also just a few blocks away where one can find a row of restaurants and shops along the Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine and beyond. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing space, I highly recommend staying here. You will not regret it. Thank you so much for everything and we will be back! 🥰🙏
