I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Julie’s place was perfect for us. All the creativity in the gardens, the kayaks, unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and a little ground squirrel for our personal enjoyment. The swans swimming by were were an unexpected pleasure! You place is very peaceful and serene. Checkin was easy and she and her beautiful daughter were kind and helpful. Julie suggested some close places to eat and enjoy and we visited each one. She had the fire pit ready to light but the weather was so hot we didn’t use it. We actually enjoyed a couple of severe storms while we were there. Watching the display of lightning over the lake was amazing but we felt safe and sound inside. The sunsets were accurately photographed on her listing. Just beautiful! The trip to Lake Michigan is a short, scenic and easy drive. Thank you Julie. We did not want to leave and hopefully will be back soon!

Modesta's Airbnb has all amenities for a lake house and more. we were able to use the Baddle boat and Kayaks. the place was clean and spacious. Modesta was responsive.The Lake house was worth the money.

My first AirBnb stay and absolutely went well beyond my expectations. The host was absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for the area. The quiet and peaceful setting was amazing, relaxing and I had the best sleep in the last year. The accessibility for myself as a wheelchair user was perfect and far better than most hotels offer. I just love the Vicksburg area and would stay here again without question. I would even buy or build a home in this lovely area should the opportunity arise, the lake and wildlife were lovely early in the morning. I can not recommend a relaxing quiet stay here enough. If you need accessibility, quiet, and relaxing while having a wonderful small town community with a short jaunt this is the perfect location. Great spot for a family vacation! House had everything we needed. Lake was beautiful and was easy to fish from the dock. Neighborhood was very friendly and peaceful too! Ryan was a very responsive host and answered all of my questions when needed!

Hows this for the review: I had an incredible stay at this beautiful winter lake house! The cozy ambiance, complete with a roaring fire, made for the perfect winter escape. The setup was thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. There were plenty of seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a book, enjoying a cup of coffee, or gathering with friends and family. Every detail was considered, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. We especially loved the great selection of games that made our evenings so much fun – perfect for gathering around the fire and enjoying quality time together. The picturesque lake view was the cherry on top, creating a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the lake in the Summer!! This is a great year round spot.

House is adorable & very clean. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Check in was super easy & beds were very comfortable! View of the lake is gorgeous & lots to do in the area! We recommend Yogi's for breakfast for sure & just 5 minutes up the road is the cutest market with anything you might need and they have free popcorn!

I just love Eagle Lake, it's so beautiful and peaceful out there. The cottage offers a stunning view of the lake from its deck. Stephaney has kayaks and paddle boats available while you are staying there. Keeps the kids entertained for sure. Will definitely stay there again!!

I had an amazing stay at Scott Lake! The building where the AirBnB is located is absolutely beautiful, and I loved learning about its history. The area is perfect—private and peaceful, yet with plenty to do. My friend and I had a fantastic time kayaking on the lake and spending the evening by the bonfire under the stars. We’re already looking forward to visiting this place again!

We had a wonderfull 2 nights/1 day in Scott Lake Resort: swimming and kayaking in the lake, sitting in the gazebo, at night we made a fire (with a little help from Jonathan) and had s’mores. Wonderfull memories, so thank you Jonathan&Tanya!

GREAT hosts, super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. Stocked the place with toiletries and snacks. I kept trying to give this place and its hosts 6 out of 5 stars but the AirBnB app wouldn’t let me 🙄

Very pleasant stay, highly recommend

Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Great stay as usual! We’re regulars staying at Stephaney’s place and will continue to come back each year. Beautiful sunsets, picturesque and peaceful area. Nothing not to love at Stephaney’s!

Purchased this trip for my husbands birthday so he could spend his days fishing. He was treated like family by the hosts and had a great time. They truly went above and beyond to make him feel welcome. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

The cottage was beautiful, and though there was a little bit of miscommunication, Tim and Kate went above and beyond to come up with a solution for us! We would definitely consider staying again when it's warmer out!

Staying at Dona and David’s was an absolute blast! It was the perfect spot for relaxing. We took a lot of recommendations out of their book for activities to do. We went to the Portman Nature reserve, the lavender farm, Paw Paw Brewery, local shops, and Bird Dog. The place was very spacious and was bigger than expected! They were very accommodating in providing little things like toiletries and spices that are easy to forgot. They were very responsive in their messages and gave some great recs. We also set up a bonfire in the yard and used their canoes at sunset, it was an absolutely wonderful experience and we hope to return soon!! Thank you!

This was our third year back—perfect stay as always! Chris and Missy are wonderful hosts, the cottage is cozy, and the location can’t be beat!

What an amazing treasure! My husband, our fur babies and I stayed for the long Memorial Day weekend and could not have been more pleased!! The view - perfection! We Airbnb often but have never stayed anywhere that was better stocked! Absolutely everything we could have needed! Neighbors were lovely and their fur babies visited each day and were very well behaved! Thanks Aaron!! We will return!❤️❤️❤️

We had a great Memorial Day weekend here grilling on the deck and fishing from the kayaks. The lake was very peaceful and quiet.

Dana‘s home was absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you could want at an Airbnb. Being right across from the lake was great. The scenery was beautiful and it was very peaceful at night. I hope I get the chance to come back and stay again.

Excellent place for a brief stay. Host was friendly and communicative, and cottage was a nice quaint place to stay.

A very sweet host who went above and beyond, a perfect slice of paradise that made our mandatory trek to a family wedding feel like a vacation in our own private getaway! Annette came through in a pinch when I noticed a travel snafu on my end to support us with a late checkout, and the neighbors were friendly while giving us our privacy: you never want to feel like you are infringing in a neighborhood, but it seemed impossible for anyone to be anything but happy on the lake! Highly recommend, even though the weather was not conducive to enjoying the water on our stay, the views were so peaceful and the home was so cozy with everything we could need.
