House holiday rentals in Kalamazoo County

Cannot say enough positive things about this home. Truly stunning. Spent the week in the heated salt water pool, on the kayaks, in the boat, at the campfire, rinse and repeat. Had every amenity. If it had palm trees would have thought we were in Florida. Close to pick up supplies, no need to leave for any other reason. Host Mary answered questions before we had them. Nice touch to have the deer frolicking about on cue in the morning with coffee and for sunset. We were a family of 6 adults and 3 little ones, plenty of room to run around and play. Highly recommend this home, would do it all over again.

The home was perfect in size for our 16 member family. The theater room was so enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were used every day!! We cooked all of our food there, including pudgie pies over the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary items needed for cooking, including a Kitchen aid mixer that we used to make a birthday cake while we were there. The instant hot water was awesome as was the water pressure. The decor in the house and all of the grounds outside were perfect! Lots of places for good photo opportunities! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and hope to stay there again in the future!!!

We were in Allegan for our wedding weekend and this place was the perfect spot for our Bridal Party to stay with us. Plenty of space, beautiful spot, a pool, just a great place for the weekend. We easily fit 8-9 cars in the driveway which was great for our guests. We had a really great time. Check out was easy as pie as well! Highly recommend this place!

We booked this house for a family vacation including 8 adults and 14 kids. We had an amazing time celebrating our parents anniversary. The home was as shown in the booking photos and had so many unique touches going along with the theme of the old home that it is. The only con for us was the extremely squeaky floors which tended to wake up our baby when anyone went to the restroom through the night — but not a dealbreaker obviously. Each family had their own room and space while the kids loved the basement area! We loved the in-home speaker system as well. Tons of space for the family to spread out. The huge dining room table was a highlight. We appreciated the sheer amount of linens, bedding, extra throw blankets and towels that were provided for us. The pool and hot tub were used for HOURS each day and the landscaping and fire pit were beautiful. When the pool heat had a minor issue, Rick sent over their maintenance man ASAP and had it back up and running for us within an hour!

The home is in the middle of the woods off a dirt road. It was quiet and easy to find. The door lock system was a little confusing to me as often the numbers appeared in two bubbles and we didn’t know which one was correct. But we persevered and was able to get in every time. The home was modestly decorated which I appreciated very much. Just enough decor to make it homey but not too much to make it an overload. The floors were pristine clean. I walked in bare feet and the floors had zero debris. The beds were comfy. Well stocked kitchen. The upstairs master bed and bath were both spotless and comfortable. Warm blankets with throw in every bed. Three more bedrooms downstairs. Enough rooms for all of us. Easy to check out. Great home. We found stores nearby for those last minute groceries. Absolutely great home. We all enjoyed it. Comfortable for 5 of us for three days while we attended a wedding nearby.

Michael's home was inviting to our needs. From kitchen utensils, garbage bags, sheets, towels, and life jackets for the pool. Our party definitely enjoyed the pool and grill. Michael checked in with us about the gas tank for the pool. We wanted the pool a little warmer however not a big deal. Overall great experience! Will be booking again.

The place was fantastic. Wonderful stay for a group of 8 dudes. Plenty of space. If you need a moment to yourself. Great rooms to gather and hangout all together. Stay here. You won't regret it.

The home was on a nice quite street. Ideally located with easy parking. The home was spacious, well equiped and had plenty of room for our extended family. Two grandparents, two parents, two grandkids, 3 and 8, and our younger daughter.

My first AirBnb stay and absolutely went well beyond my expectations. The host was absolutely amazing, friendly, and helpful with suggestions for the area. The quiet and peaceful setting was amazing, relaxing and I had the best sleep in the last year. The accessibility for myself as a wheelchair user was perfect and far better than most hotels offer. I just love the Vicksburg area and would stay here again without question. I would even buy or build a home in this lovely area should the opportunity arise, the lake and wildlife were lovely early in the morning. I can not recommend a relaxing quiet stay here enough. If you need accessibility, quiet, and relaxing while having a wonderful small town community with a short jaunt this is the perfect location. Great place to stay if you’re working at Pfizer or Stryker! The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. They take care of everything!

Came into Kalamazoo for a concert at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe. Venue was a five minute drive away, but was walkable. We chose to drive because of the weather. Alexi gave clear instructions for check in and great local recommendations for food. We will definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in the area!

Brianne is a wonderful host, and very responsive. Her place was oh so cute and comfy!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Julie’s place was perfect for us. All the creativity in the gardens, the kayaks, unobstructed view of the beautiful lake. There were hummingbirds, butterflies and a little ground squirrel for our personal enjoyment. The swans swimming by were were an unexpected pleasure! You place is very peaceful and serene. Checkin was easy and she and her beautiful daughter were kind and helpful. Julie suggested some close places to eat and enjoy and we visited each one. She had the fire pit ready to light but the weather was so hot we didn’t use it. We actually enjoyed a couple of severe storms while we were there. Watching the display of lightning over the lake was amazing but we felt safe and sound inside. The sunsets were accurately photographed on her listing. Just beautiful! The trip to Lake Michigan is a short, scenic and easy drive. Thank you Julie. We did not want to leave and hopefully will be back soon!

The people renting the house did an excellent job communicating what the house had and how to leave it when we left. They responded to any questions very quickly and checked to make sure our stay met our expectations. They responded house was what was advertised and very comfortable. We would rent this house every year if it was available.

The setup was thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. There were plenty of seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a book, enjoying a cup of coffee, or gathering with friends and family. Every detail was considered, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. We especially loved the great selection of games that made our evenings so much fun – perfect for gathering around the fire and enjoying quality time together. The picturesque lake view was the cherry on top, creating a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the lake in the Summer!! This is a great year round spot.

Was a beautiful place. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Spacious and clean and comfortable. Had lots of kitchen space and dining room space. We love to cook and the pantry was great.

The perfect place for our family! Everything there that we needed & lovely setting by the water. After our event, we came back to the house & enjoyed a fire by the lake. Would absolutely recommend this place!

The Little Red cottage was absolutely adorable, very comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful location right on the water. We loved sitting in the backyard looking at the lake under a lovely tree canopy watching the swans and listening to birds. it's a very short paddle in the kayaks over to Ramona Park Beach where there's a great playground for the kids. Absolutely perfect memorial Day weekend! Thank you so much Kelley!
