Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kalamazoo County

Deb was wonderful ! My room was ready when I arrived, very homey and inviting. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Deb’s home was clean and nicely decorated. She and her dog Mocha were great company. On top of a great place, Deb even made dinner!!! She is an excellent cook. It was so appreciated! I would definitely recommend her place. I plan to stay again when in the area.

Debbie went BEYOND - quick, consistent positive communication, transparent, accommodating. I booked this place for my husband for his contract work. Debbie replies very quickly to all questions, offered early check in, and communication every step of the way and even let us know our dog was welcome if we chose to bring her along. She also made suggestions of places to visit. The room looked exactly like the photos. Debbie prepared meals (salmon/rice, enchiladas, dumplings, etc) and offered/packed lunches for my husband, this was very sweet of her (this is the first time I know of a host to provide this!). Sadly, I miscalculated the distance of this home from my husband’s workplace so it was a very long commute, but if it wasn’t for that we would have loved to stay longer. We will be adding this to our list of places to stay when we get chance to vacation. It’s a homey place. :) Thank you so much for making the place very welcoming!

It was exactly what we expected. Nice relaxing getaway in this beautiful lake house with a great game room. Jenni was always available for us if we needed her. Can't wait till next time.

This is an extraordinary Airbnb experience. The Homestead is beautifully appointed, Cris and Randy are exceptional hosts, and the country setting is beautiful. Cris prepares a beautiful and thoughtful breakfast, all locally sourced. It was a delightful stay!

Excellent location for a wedding at Bay Pointe! In, out, no muss, no fuss! Hosts were very accomodating, rooms and bathrooms were immaculate and comfortable. A perfect place to sneak away for an evening or long retreat. Thanks for a great stay.

We travel a lot for our sons wrestling, this place was one of our favorites. Can easily accommodate a family of 4-6. The bedrooms are upstairs so if someone needs main floor they’ll want to use the couches, which are plenty wide and very comfy!! Josh was a great host, in contact right away and makes sure the temp is to your liking prior to arrival. He also allowed us late check-out so we didn’t have to feel rushed on a Holiday. We got to enjoy some fishing on the lake from shore but wasn’t quite warm enough to be on the water yet. Would highly suggest this spot for a quick summer get away!

We had a great experience staying here. The hosts were very responsive and took care of any questions or concerns right away. The peaceful lake right across the home made for a beautiful, relaxing setting. They also provided a thoughtful care basket with essentials, which came in handy in case anyone forgot something like a toothbrush. The extra touches—like games and karaoke—were a fun bonus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Kara’s as our daughter had events at both WMU and K-zoo and the location could not have been more perfect. It was ideal for our family and really helped to come back to a home at the end of a long day of sports instead of a hotel. We also loved being able to bring our dog; hanging out with him on the deck around the fire pit was awesome.

Kara’s place was a perfect spot to stay for a couple nights while in town skiing at Bittersweet Mountain Resort…was super close to all the cool breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants in downtown Kalamazoo…highly recommend!

Another memorable, intimate, and sacred experience and rendezvous with my Husband. We returned for Week 7 of Our Imago Therapy Couples Session. From enjoyable cooked meals in the kitchen of our rental, to centering on the back deck, watching movies, and quality time simply BEing. The stay was quite enjoyable! This was our second time staying here for a visit to Kalamazoo College, where my kid is considering going. This apartment is clean and has all you need for a short stay. It's in a lovely neighborhood with several things you can walk to. The best breakfast/brunch at Crow's Nest and the best coffee at Fourth Coast are just around the block. And there's a restaurant (I think Italian food - we didn't eat there) basically next door to the house, so you don't need to go far for a bite to eat. You can also walk to a record store, a bagel restaurant, and some other things. There are 2 things to keep in mind: the beds are stiff/firm, so if that's something that bothers you, you may want to bring a mattress topper (I am used to a very soft bed so I always have a hard time when I travel because most beds are so firm), and it's also a very bouncy mattress. And the downstairs neighbor tends to have their TV up super loud! This happened last time too. But thankfully they didn't keep it on all night.

Julie was a fantastic host! She was warm, friendly, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication was smooth throughout, and I truly appreciated her hospitality. I’d happily stay here again—highly recommend!

It was a great location and a very nice 2 bedroom unit with a lot of attention to detail. Examples are toiletries, spices and coffee that was really nice as we checked in later in day.

We had a wonderful stay at Patrice’s place. It was the perfect location for catching a show at the Franke Center. Patrice was welcoming and kind and she left many thoughtful touches to enhance our visit. We adored the warm and eclectic decor around the apartment. We highly recommend this rental for a comfortable stay in Marshall!

We loved our stay for New Year’s Eve. It was a great way to welcome in 2025. It’s an easy walk to downtown restaurants. Steve was great getting us settled in for the night, and the breakfast served was excellent. We hope to stay again in the summer because the front porch looked adorable.

I had always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast, and this location was the perfect spot. Check in was quick and easy, and the room was just as expected. I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast this morning, and the cook/housekeeper/front desk clerk (sorry, didn't catch her name.) was super sweet and had perfect hospitality this morning. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a small town stay.

Surprise to find out I booked and stayed for the second time with no intention to stay in one place at all! This really tells how good of Kingsley!
