The house is 172 years old built as per traditional Kerala architecture, established right on the backwaters. Its exactly how it has been described on airbnb and even better. A very spacious property with ample parking space, open area situated in a serene, calm place. The roads are perfect for an evening stroll with a setting sun. Hormese as a host is very gracious, friendly, responsive and very polite. he immediately sent us the location and paths we needed to follow, followed by food recommendations around the place and also sorted our itinerary for the day ahead. I checked in like 9 PM and still there wasn't any issue. Even Hormese came to make sure that we were comfortably settled in. Would highly recommend this place and the host. 10/10

The stay was really good. The host has proactively helped us while we where on the property. The caretaker was there for all our needs. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

This is such a wonderful place to stay! We celebrated my mums milestone birthday here and we had 3 “families” staying in each room, with its own en suite bathroom. Rooms were clean, spacious and the bathrooms were good. This was great as we had 3 small kids that also had enough space to run around, We loved our fresh clean towels everyday! The property is exactly as described and Mr Shiva and the rest of his team were really wonderful and looked after us so well. We haven’t stayed at a place like this in Kerala before as we are all living abroad, and come to Kerala to visit family and stay in our family home. This was a nice change and helped us enjoy some of the time we had together as we were all relaxed with the great service. We opted to have the meals catered for at the house and the food was always delicious and well cooked and we loved it all! Thank you for all the help and professional service.
