Monthly Rentals in Jelovica

The place is a “5-star⭐️”, this is our son's first reaction when we arrive. The beautiful little cottage is a peaceful little “home sweet home” next to an old mill that Tomaz has renovated too. We were treated to fresh little eggs from their chickens and a very good local wine. Beautiful touches, excellent communication with the host whose natural and joyful sharing is felt. The small river and the residents as well as the colorful little hives, this place is just extraordinary. It is like Slovenia, this little green paradise and its authentic inhabitants. We will come back for sure and recommend the places and the host a thousand times.

Very clean (absolutely no dust anywhere) great location, spacious, stunning views, private and very quiet. Very sweet hosts who clearly enjoy running their Airbnb apartment above their house. Lovely outdoor kitchen which was very tidy. A couple of things to note, when driving to the apartment Google Maps takes you down a road that's closed and full of JCBs etc. so a word of warning to go round the town and in from the other side would have been good. The decor is quite old fashioned (this is in no way a negative, it's just more so than appears on photos) with lots of china dolls through the apartment. It adds character and is very Slovenian and authentic. Again no massive issue but slightly unexpected. You get used to them watching you sleep after a while. Overall tho it's a great apartment and we'd really recommend anyone to stay here.

This accommodation is a dream. The house is is is situated in a small village at the top of the mountain. Incredible views-it looks like paradise. Very cozy, loving equipment with everything you can think of. The beds were so comfortable. The view is particularly beautiful. The large and well-kept garden invites you to linger. There are about 16 houses surrounding and the people are so friendly..We felt welcome and so comfortable from the first minute. Tom our co-host ( contact person) was always reachable. We were informed about great tours and got the best route to the house before arrival. After a week, we were even asked if there was anything else we needed. We had everything!More than enough. In addition to beds, there were sheets and a lot of towels, even some food was available. It was an incredibly nice time. Relaxation and Slovenia is a special country. We just say "thank you"!!!!

Had the most wonderful time at Branko’s place in Podbrdo. The village is gorgeous and peaceful with a train station that can get you to other local towns as well as Bled very easily and cheaply. The people in the town are so friendly and welcoming. Branko was extremely responsive to messages and always ready to help with a recommendation or advice about transport and local hiking. He was very friendly and knowledgable about the local area. Perfect host! Also in the accomodation were some food items which you can take for a small charge. Great idea. Extremely helpful considering we arrived on a Sunday when the super markets were shut. Can’t wait to return to Podbrdo and finish everything we didn’t have time for.
