Holiday rentals with a home cinema in James River

Place was really clean and comfortable. Would be a great place for bringing a family. Onege was very responsive, friendly and flexible! She made sure to make my pups feel welcome with their own dog beds and bowls. I do want to note that this home does have a unit upstairs but it still felt private. The place is very spacious and does make you feel like you have the whole house to yourself.

Elizabeth was a wonderful host. She was friendly, informative and responsive. This was our 3rd stay at Kingsgate and it never disappoints. It has become my kids (13,15) favorite place to visit. They tell all their friends. There are tons of activities, including a movie theater. We found out recently that the outdoor pool is heated so you are not limited to just the indoor pool during the colder months. They have a wonderful pool side bar and grill. My kids always ask for the slushies :-). The room is nice and spacious. Even the pull out couch is comfy! It has a full size kitchen with everything you may need. I love the little nook in the master suite, ideal for reading. The balcony is great to enjoy your morning coffee or the peaceful evenings. There is plenty of space for everyone. We never feel crowded. It is the perfect family getaway no matter the age. I highly recommend this property and look forward to checking out other Wyndham properties as well.

Bill & Sherry were wonderful hosts and their AirBnB is nothing short of spectacular. The pristine views from and comfortable accommodation made this an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are truly grateful!

Very cute and clean loft. Enjoyed the location with the park right across the street. Matt was very communicative and friendly and provided local recommendations. Loved the breakfast at Sugar and Bean that was included in our stay.

I truthfully don’t think 1000 characters is enough to describe my experience. From start to end Eugene has been a wonderful host, making my stay worthwhile. I previously stayed at one of his listings and that’s what drove me to return as a guest at his home. From the quick responses to the cleanliness of the homes, the beautiful decor (which might I add are the PERFECT touches), and the comforting feeling of “home away from home.” It’s just PERFECT. I had so much fun playing pool, the building amenities were amazing as well, watching my favorite shows on the projectors gave a movie theater at home feeling and might I add, an uber ride ANYWHERE from the apartment isn’t long at all. I can honestly say that I will always book a stay with Eugene every time I come back to Virginia. Look no where else, this is the place to be. Eugene I thank you so much for accommodating me on my stay and going above and beyond to make sure all was well.

From the initial inquiry message until the final check out, Brandi was kind and willing to offer information. There is a full flight of stairs to get to the apt but after the stairs you're right there! The home was cozy, comfortable and beautifully designed. No opportunities were wasted in making each area intimate and pretty to look at and be in. You can tell the area is still up & coming, but the location is so great being close to wonderful restaurants and downtown right up the road! With coffee bar, appliances galore, and 2 full bathrooms, my husband, parents and I had a wonderful night's rest. Unfortunately it was a one-night stopover during travel, but I would stay here again!

Fabulous stay. Apartment very large. 2 master suites with king comfy beds. Huge walk-in tile shower and bathtub in other bathroom. We didn’t even use 1 bedroom & bathroom. Full kitchen…Yes with tons of counter space. Had a really great deck with big green plastic chairs & 1 tables. Gorgeous deck view of the woods….very private! Plenty of parking and the activities this place has was phenomenal. Outdoor giant checkers, playground, tennis & pickleball courts, mini golf, full gym, indoor pool, hot tub, adult pool and huge family pool. Nice comfy chairs, pool bar attached to restaurant with everything on the menu for family’s. Ice cream too. Game room with free arcade games and tons of them. I know I left more fun out cuz we were only there for 2 1/2 days. My 15 year old and I really enjoyed our stay. We hit Go Ape Adventures, Aldi for food/snacks, Busch Gardens, shopped, hit one of the ton of restaurants around the corner. Very convenient location from lots of fun!!!

Alisha was very helpful with all the questions I threw at her, before and during our stay. it was very peaceful and private. we loved the movie room. it was wonderful to be able to see movies on a big screen. would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area.

We had a great time at this beautiful house. The views were spectacular and the house and amenities were perfect. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday here with friends and family and we all had a great time with plenty of space for everyone.

We stayed for our daughter's graduation from Wake Forest. It is about 30 min from campus, which wasn't too bad, and gave us much more space for our whole family than we would've had any place we looked closer to campus. It was so spacious and the property is lovely and quiet. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but it was well-appointed & seemed it had anything we could need. Loved the screened in porch too!

This Airbnb was the perfect setting for my husband's birthday celebration with our kids! The home was incredibly family-friendly, offering something special for everyone. Our children had a blast exploring both the indoor space and the wonderful outdoor area. The outdoor space was a huge highlight - perfect for morning coffee, afternoon play sessions, and evening relaxation under the stars. Inside, the living area was perfect for family gatherings, game time, and birthday festivities. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing both the special birthday dinner and kid-friendly meals. The sleeping arrangements worked perfectly for our family, ensuring everyone had a good night.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing long weekend. The beds were incredibly cozy, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, a well-stocked kitchen, a few of all necessities to start (e.g., coffee pods, dishwasher tablets). Ashley was communicative, kind, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. We truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an stress-free, high-quality Airbnb experience!

Gated compound with a lot of amenities to enjoy. Host is responsive and proactively reaching out to provide information.

Condo was as described in the listing. The condo is part of a timeshare property but the staff only made the timeshare pitch once (<3 minutes) and took no quickly and respectfully at checkin. If you are visiting the triangle with family or a large group (colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown) and Busch Gardens, you can’t beat the location and value. Unlike other airbnbs, no cleaning required on checkout which is a pleasure on vacation.

Absolutely loved the place. So many accommodations and centrally located. It would be impossible to find something better. Will definitely be back.

Everything was exactly like it was stated. We came with our 2 daughters and their partners. Having a separate living room and kitchen for us and them made everything simple and gave us all plenty of space. The amenities were wonderful for any age that might stay there.

Working with David was great and our stay was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The place had everything you could need and Margaret was a wonderful host. She was so quick to answer every question and went over and above to make sure our stay was wonderful. It was such a relaxing time being right on the lake. We took advantage of the paddle boards she provided as well as spent way too much time on the Pickleball courts. Definitely would recommend this place.
