Family-friendly holiday rentals in Isle La Motte

The house was perfect for us. We were a group of 8 and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, plenty of space to move around, park our cars and sit while relaxing throughout the house. Ryan was so helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions. Lovely house, hope I get to return.

We highly recommend staying here! Super clean and in a peaceful community only a short drive to Wilmington and Lake Placid. Stacy, our host, was also super responsive to any questions and needs. The hot tub was a great spot to hang out and relax after a long day on the water or on the trails. We will surely be back!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

I booked a last minute escape from the city and Rob’s mountain getaway was exactly what I needed. The home was both welcoming & comforting with enough blankets to keep me & our furry one warm and cozy. The stocked coffee bar & equipped kitchen made the mornings a breeze. Tucked away in the peaceful mountains of Vermont, stargazing takes on a whole new meaning while in the amazing hot-tub Rob has on the property. The weather was too variable for us to utilize the lovely fire pit but that’s what the winter time is for. Still peaceful to sit up in the ski chairs and enjoy the scenery. We even saw a hummingbird! All in all, Rob is an amazing host with a home filled with so much character and charm. The local restaurant recommendations were all a hit! It’s a quick 30-40 minute drive to Burlington We even extended an extra day because we enjoyed our time so much and Rob was quick to reply and enthusiastic in all communications. 10/10 will stay again and highly recommend!

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

We had a wonderful stay at the Monty's place -- the apartment was well stocked with many thoughtful items, the area is very peaceful and near to outdoor activities, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This is just a beautiful house! Clean and has everything you need! The views are amazing and not too far from town.

We completed the lake placid 9er hike on our stay. Great location with all hikes less than 20 min away (some less than 10). Spectacular view and incredible kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were great amenities for recovery from long days hiking. Place is as advertised and you cannot beat the view of the mountains. Highly suggest going to the hungry trout restaurant. Only a few minutes away, much closer than downtown lake placid and the food/service was great. Highly recommend this rental and hope to be back next year to begin the 46er.

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Great stay and cabin. The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was even better than the pictures. Views were unreal and very peaceful !! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Just 1mil away you can find local stores, gas station, etc… We would definitely come back again!

Genevieve’s spot was perfect for a stay in Burlington! Ideally located and was walkable to many of the downtown spots and also Lake Champlain. Also an easy drive to South End and Shelburne Farms. It was cozily curated and decorated and felt like “home”. Especially loved sitting on the front sun porch with a cup of coffee and a book in the morning. I’d absolutely book again!

We had a great time at Still Point & the surrounding areas. The house was well stocked with supplies. It was clean (keep in mind you are in the woods & mountains) & well maintained. Michael & Isabelle were easy to communicate with & quick to respond. The scenery around the house was beautiful & relaxing. Listening to the Loons just about every day & watching the beavers frolic one night was amazing. The surrounding areas & attractions were easily accessible & just a short drive. Yet, you felt like you were all alone & secluded when at Still point. Our kids had so much fun at the house & on all the adventures we took. The only downside was leaving! Our family had a great time at the Topnotch Resorts. The unit was cozy and clean with everything we needed. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer to throw in the ski clothes from the day. The indoor pool and hot tub facility was beautiful with fresh towels available and and a family changing area. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also awesome with a view of the mountains in the background. Kelly at the front desk was a complete pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly and went above and beyond to help us and made sure our stay was amazing. We will be back!

This place was perfect for our family of three for a long weekend. The room had everything we needed and the views of the village from the balcony were amazing. Lots to do in the village and plenty more just a short drive down the road to Stowe. We’d love to come back in the summer when there are more outdoor activities available.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

We really enjoyed this place! The property is beautiful. The pool looked really clean and well cared for (but we didn't have a chance to use it). The supplied linens and especially the bath towels were great. This certainly will be on our list the next time are in VT.

We had a great stay! The place is 4 different levels with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kids loved the loft bedroom and they all had their own comfortable bed to sleep in. The views are amazing and it was so quiet! I could have lived in the hammock on the deck!

weekend family trip for 6 of us and our dog(4 adults and 2 kids), plenty of space for everyone, and much larger than I expected! we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, playing board games on the large dining room table, swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub, wrapping the nights up with a movie on their Roku TV! Kristin was very responsive in her communication, we had a lovely time and would love to plan future trips here again!
