Waterfront holiday rentals in Isle La Motte

We enjoyed our stay very much. Car GPS had trouble finding address, but with help from Google maps we got there. -loved the secluded location and awesome views of lake Champlain. thanks again!

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

We stayed for a month and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Looked just like the pics (even better actually) and was squeaky clean! June was super responsive and very friendly / knowledgeable about where to go. SO MUCH to do in the area! Her place is walkable to just about everywhere nearby - safe and super quiet. Bed was super comfy and shower was awesome! Kitchen had everything we needed and the washer dryer unit is a powerhouse. The back yard views of the lake are to die for! We brought our bikes and rode the trails all over. Do the causeway if you have bikes (or rent them). June’s guide is chock full of amazing suggestions and she responds quickly with questions. LOVED OUR STAY! Thanks June!!

Would highly recommend this space for visiting Burlington! It was just a few minutes walk away from Church Street and/or the waterfront. We appreciated the short walk back from the comedy club at night and waking up and walking around the corner for breakfast at a local bakery. The free park was a big perk especially with all the downtown construction. The space was clean and quiet, despite being right near the bustling downtown. The bed was so comfortable after a long day of activities. I slept like a baby! Will definitely stay here next time we are visiting the area!

Such a wonderful place to stay! The location and scenery blew me away, and the house was so beyond gorgeous. Very clean, accessible, had everything I could've possibly needed. Hosts were very reachable and responsive. We had a wonderful time and were very appreciative of getting to stay in such a lovely place!

Cheri was an amazing host! She has created a spot that feels both like home and a luxury hotel accommodation. The rental is tucked away from the street, is quiet and private and feels relaxed despite being polished and pristine. Cheri was quick on communication on the Airbnb platform and also popped in to make recommendations and to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed shortly after check-in. The space was perfect for the 2 of us, and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with just the right amount - not too much, not too little. The lighting and fixtures in every room are thoughtfully chosen, and there are 2 heat pump/ AC units making the whole space comfortable. If you are going to Burlington, this is a perfect spot, a 10ish minute walk from church street marketplace. There are many restaurants and places to grab a cup of coffee or tea and a bite to close by. Also, a short walk from the water and a couple of parks. We're very happy with our stay!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Didn't want to leave!!! 😊 Thank you Joanne for your exemplary hospitality!

Sherry's place was amazing! Great views! This is our second visit here and have booked a third later in the summer. Sherry is a wonderful host and we appreciate her opening up this beautiful lake cottage for us.

Homey open concept home where you van listen to the river while you take a dip in the cedar hot tub. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub, closeness to the Von Trappe Famiky Lodge, and the milk brother for my morning coffee.

This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! We are so grateful for Dina to sharing this wonderful home with us!!

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

Tyler was a great host! Place was great. Plenty of space, clean and as described. Awesome MDW getaway. Close to Stowe and within an hour of Burlington. Hot tub and fire pit were bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Great house with lake access right across the street. Will look to stay here again. Had enough space for our group and the outdoor area is massive and shaded.

We loved our stay at Caitlin’s lake house in Alburgh. The views of Lake Champlain were amazing. Great sunset viewing every night. Comfortable living space & beds. Lots of space. Amazing “breakfast nook” in kitchen. The dock & outdoor furniture were so nice! We spent almost 2 full weeks here & definitely recommend this quiet lakefront house to others. We were in the area to explore all of the Vermont/Federal land & wildlife areas. Hiking, swimming, birding, hunting, fishing, all are at your fingertips or close by. Alburgh is a nice small town and was a great home-base for our explorations.

The view of the lake is so serene and having access to it on the property was quite the bonus feature. My family knew it was too cold to swim but we were looking forward to the calmness of it all. Dominique let us know that she'd be around the last night of our stay which was a nice heads up in case we heard any noises in the main house above. They were very quiet neighbors! We took a trip over to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park during the day to visit during their last open weekend of the year which was a nice way to see some art and the surrounding landscape. Maybe next time we'll get a bite to eat somewhere but we had everything we needed to prepare meals so we mostly stayed put this time around. We'd love to stay again next time we're looking for a VT getaway if they'd have us.

Loved staying at Jake's place. It was so easy to get around and the accomodations were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

It was my great experiece stayed for almost 2 months. Very worth it. husband and wife as the host are very helpful from beginning until the end of my stay. The location was perfect for me, close to the river, quite neighbourhood, met my expectation. They are very helpful, kind, cheerful and polite. They also lent me a bike which helped me a lot. I did a review based on previous customers feedback and I concurred all of thier positive comments. If were given chance to find apartment to stay again over there, I would choose the same one again and also recommended to others for those need to stay. Thank again. It's my great pleasure and meeting them too.

Nicest bnb we have stayed at in placid! We had the grounds to ourselves and enjoyed sitting by the lake the first night before it rained the rest of the weekend. The place was cozy and the fireplace was nice for the rainy days. I appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room too!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

We would ideally have liked to stay longer and Sarah was very accommodating in that regard but the rainy weather forced us to travel north as we are on tight schedule. Would definitely visit again when we are back in Vermont in future.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!
