This charming cottage-style home was ideal for our getaway. It was clean and ready for use, conveniently located near the water, restaurants, and shopping. I appreciated having chairs on the porch and near the fire pit. Anne was proactive in her communication and replied promptly. We had a lovely time and recommend this location for others looking to disconnect.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

The place felt more spacious compared to the photos. Adam was always responsive and helpful in accommodating some sleeping arrangements me & my party needed. Were in the Charolette area for tennis tournament and found the location close to highway to get around fast. And it was in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants. The kitchen had many coffee amenities which was cool to get kick started for the day. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Thanks Adam for hosting.

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

Whether it was enjoying family meals together, taking in the serenity of the lake, or simply spending quality time, this house offered everything we could ask for. We were visiting our son at Davidson College and it was close and gave a place to place board games and sit by the fire. Love the lake. Peaceful.

We absolutely loved this condo! Very homey & comfortable. One room also had a twin bed in addition to the queen bed. The patio overlooked the pool and marina/harbor and a restaurant, which was less than a 5 minute walk. It was a beautiful area to walk the dog. Yes, you can see & hear I-77 from the patio & pool but could not hear it from inside the condo. Downtown Davidson & Harris Teeter (grocery store) was less than 5 minutes away. We would absolutely stay here again! Such a beautiful area!

We were blown away by this rental. The pictures don't do it justice. The home was beautiful and very well appointed. Plenty of kitchen appliances & supplies, linens & towels, and toiletries. There was plenty for all of us to do, with a pickleball/basketball court, hot tub, pool, firepit, and kayaks. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and safe. Overall, we were very pleased.

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Linda was a phenomenal host! She was very helpful and responsive. The house made my girlfriends and I feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the grill and enclosed patio. The house was stocked with everything we needed from coffee to seasoning for the steaks we purchased. The neighbors to the left and right were very nice. All the rooms were spacious and clean. While we didn’t make it to the lake, we definitely plan to come back and that will be our first stop. Thank you so much Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

It was a lovely weekend getaway eith my kids. Lots to do and easy to relax. We are so glad we found this place.

We had a wonderful stay! There was so much space in the home for our group of moms and daughters. We loved the huge kitchen, multiple dining tables and open living space! The downstairs was like an entire other house. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool in the backyard, and wished we had time for the fire pit. We hope to return!

Nice escape from the city, very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the house was great! Ashley was prompt to respond and we felt right at home. The nearby shopping center was also super convenient for last minute needs.

Stephanie was a phenomenal host, and the space was amazing! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking to be close to all that the LKN area has to offer, balanced with a tranquil space to step away and relax! Five stars across the board!

This was an amazing get away for our family! It had a tone of space, lots of things for the kids to do and the best kitchen we have had with lots of equipment to use! We will definitely be back!!

This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and just what our family needed. So grateful that we were able to bring our sweet dog too. Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

We had a great time at Kevin’s place. Check in and check out were easy, and the house was roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space upstairs and downstairs for all of us. It is a split level (just to let you know in case you have trouble with stairs), but this was nice for us as we were able to spread out. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch looking out over the back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable.

We were in town for my son’s wedding and this home was so perfect for us! Very clean, plenty of towels, comfy beds, large kitchen, dining, and living room. We loved all of the windows with views of the lake! We were happy with our stay and would definitely return again!

Beautiful setting with lots of things to do. Dogs are great. Lake is lovely. Kayaks are nice. Lore cared a lot that we were happy during our stay.

Stayed here this past weekend and it was amazing. Beautiful house, very clean and cozy. Outside was private with a privacy fence on one side and shrubs on the other. It was quiet at night and with a gated driveway it felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The spacious layout of the house was perfect for a group, and it was great having our own dock and lakeside fire pit. Very private, quiet, and clean. John was extremely responsive and friendly with anything we needed. We highly recommend and hope to visit here again.
