Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Linda was a phenomenal host! She was very helpful and responsive. The house made my girlfriends and I feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the grill and enclosed patio. The house was stocked with everything we needed from coffee to seasoning for the steaks we purchased. The neighbors to the left and right were very nice. All the rooms were spacious and clean. While we didn’t make it to the lake, we definitely plan to come back and that will be our first stop. Thank you so much Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay! There was so much space in the home for our group of moms and daughters. We loved the huge kitchen, multiple dining tables and open living space! The downstairs was like an entire other house. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool in the backyard, and wished we had time for the fire pit. We hope to return!

Nice escape from the city, very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the house was great! Ashley was prompt to respond and we felt right at home. The nearby shopping center was also super convenient for last minute needs.

Our family gets together every year for a family vacation. We chose this lake house for its location as well as the fact that it had so many things to keep us busy, regardless on how the weather turned out. We loved the kayaks and the fact that multiple were provided. The access to the lake was amazing so we could fish any time. The home is beautifully decorated, so much attention to detail. The home provides board games for your family, floats for the pool, speaker for music poolside, among many other things. We loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit overlooking the lake. The kids never complained about lack of things to do. We especially loved playing darts. It was such an amazing home that it got all of the kids off of electronics. We had an issue with the water and John was super responsive and fixed it right away. He was so responsive. The home is only minutes away from a large shopping center as well as a boat rental company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We loved this property! It’s in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and everyone is super friendly. We played in the game room (a great new addition), swam in the heated pool, kayaked around the lake, made a campfire, played games in the spacious lawn, and relaxed with our kids. The beds and seating areas were comfortable and everything was clean. The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. There are a number of good restaurants, coffee shops and creameries nearby. There’s also a grocery store a few miles away that we visited a couple times for fresh fruits and pastries. If you’re considering this property- you won’t be disappointed. Between watching the lake’s heron named Harry, seeing all the turtles, frogs and wildlife… you’ll be totally relaxed. Great visit!!

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day. It was great to have direct access to Lake Norman and we had a great time kayaking and swimming with our 10 month old. Lake Norman State Park was just 15 minutes away and we had a great little hike there.

This place was wonderful, it had a great layout. It appears it was recently updated, and everything was exactly as things were posted. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

The place was beautifully decorated and clean, the location was gorgeous and peaceful. We loved the views! The beds were comfy and it was very clean.

Very cozy home on the lake. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very cooperative but we enjoyed our time and the home. The inside of the home is very clean, spacious, and accommodating. The outside could have used a bit more cleaning, but it had been raining a lot and I’m sure that contributed to the dirt along the decks and outdoor furniture.

We were visiting our son at Davidson College and it was close and gave a place to place board games and sit by the fire. Love the lake. Peaceful.

Staying at this beautiful house on Lake Norman in Denver, NC, was nothing short of perfection. From the moment I booked the property to the day I checked out, the entire experience was seamless and enjoyable. The house itself was so stunning and well-maintained that it’s honestly difficult to put into words just how wonderful it was. Every corner of the property exuded comfort and care, making it a true retreat. The host deserves a special mention for their responsiveness; any question or concern I had was addressed promptly and thoroughly. Their clear communication and attentiveness made the entire process feel effortless, which is always a bonus when planning a getaway. The kayak was fun and relaxing. My wife had never been and she doesn't speak English. It turns out I don't speak Spanish when kayaks are about to tip over and I need to say "No te apoyes." Only downside: no nearby places to take an evening walk or grab some ice cream or souvenirs.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

Quite the lovely stay, Kelly was so understanding and her responses were quick. She was flexible with My friends and our stay. Everything was easily accessible and easy to understand. This place is such a unique experience and her hosting skills made it that much memorable. 10/10 would recommend, I’d love to come back🩷

This place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfy, which is important. It was thoughtfully laid out and had everything we needed. My kids loved the game room as well. The yard and dock were really nice. Lake Norman is very populated, so there are lots of neighbors that were out (so not private in that sense but I think Lake Norman is like that), but because of the cove, there is not much boat traffic. The lake was nice- my kids caught lots of fish, and we enjoyed the kayaks. Randy is next door and is very responsive. There is a camera recording the driveway that talks to you every time you are in the driveway to tell you you are being recorded. There are 2 great grocery stores less than 10 min away (Harris Teeter and a new Food Lion). Overall, it’s clean and comfortable, and if you are looking for a place to stay with a family and kids, it worked well for us.

My family and I stayed at Austin’s home for a Father’s Day getaway and it did not disappoint. Austin’s house was exactly as pictured. Super clean, had all the things I needed away from home, and was so peaceful. My kids did not want to leave as his house provided them with all things outdoors that we don’t typically do. They enjoyed fishing, campfires, paddle boarding, jumping off the dock onto this floating island mat, touring Lake Norman on his beautiful boat and best of all having a BLAST on the water tube. My husband and I appreciated the relaxing hot tub while taking in all the beauty of the lake. Austin was so quick to respond to my questions and was just a joy!! We shared some special bonding time together as a family because Austin’s house provided the perfect space to do so. We would absolutely come back and stay at his place in the future.

We absolutely loved this house. The inside has everything you need and touches of fun decor throughout. The outside deck and backyard are beautiful and made for a peaceful and fun experience. The deck in the lake comes with kayaks and paddle boards and is fun to fish from. This was such a great for my family to all come together and I would recommend it to anyone.

An absolutely wonderful stay in a perfect base for the lovely town of Davidson and its college. Great communication from Lorilee - just all around perfect!
