Holiday rentals with lake access in Hunter

Georgia’s home is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Even though it was a rainy weekend and we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we wanted, the indoors were just as great. The linens are fresh and cozy, the open-concept layout is great for a group, the kitchen has much of what you need, and the views are spectacular. Also, Georgia is very responsive if you need anything. My group loved our stay.

We had a great time at Brigham Place! It's a cute home in a quiet area on the creek. The decor was fun and eclectic and made for a great topic of conversation during our stay. It was overcast and rainy for most of our stay, but we didn't mind because the house was such a fun place to hang out. On our last day, the sun finally came out and the access to the creek was a game changer. We were able to use the kayaks and have a wonderful morning excursion on the creek. Also, William was so helpful and responsive before, during, and after our stay. It made the whole experience that much better. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends!

We had a great weekend stay at Katherine’s. The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve is only a ten minute drive and we really appreciated the local recommendations provided in the binder!

This was our second stay in Richard's home (we accidentally missed the review period for the first stay but that also would have been 5 stars!). We enjoyed our second stay just as much. The home itself is cozy, clean, well laid out, and well stocked. We were especially appreciative of the generously-sized television for movie nights, the fireplace which enhanced the cozy vibes, and the shower (the shower head is so awesome I bought one for home, and the hot water is plentiful)!! The outside of Richard's home is just as enjoyable as the inside - the patio is well equipped with furniture and a grill and the lawn is perfect for soaking up the sun and bird watching. Richard's home is a short drive from Tannersville and Hunter, which are both lovely towns each with some tasty food options worth exploring. And it's not too far from Phoenicia either (great food!!). Lastly, Richard's home is super close to North-South Lake Campground which boasts some incredible views and hikes.

We had a wonderful stay at this location during my daughter’s graduation from Bard College. The location has beautiful views of the lake and the layout of the property was perfect for the family to gather and celebrate, while also giving everyone the space for their own quiet time or rest. I would definitely recommend this location and hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

We have been looking forward to our stay at this cabin for weeks. We needed to unplug and we got just that. It was a rainy weekend but that made the area more magical. The house is so beautiful , loved the nice art sprinkled all over the house including a lovely picture of the waterfalls behind the property which can be heard from the house! everything was clean and very homie! and we got a ton of suggestions for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Wonderful Memorial Day weekend stay! House is large and can easily accommodate a family or group of friends. Great proximity to Rhinebeck and surrounding towns. The team managing the home was wonderful. Communication A+. Hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A cozy, warm, gorgeous little hideaway, super dog friendly and extremely convenient to Hunter Mountain skiing. I cannot say enough good things about Greg as a host, he was so responsive, warm, and accommodating, it felt like staying at a friend’s place. Comfy beds, great fire, thoughtful touches throughout the home, and fully stocked with everything you could want (seriously, I felt like I was in my own kitchen). Have not felt so peaceful and relaxed in a long time. Highly recommend, and we will be back for sure.

Robin and Stan were terrific hosts, they were very proactive with communication and super accommodating during our entire stay. The house was absolutely lovely and so easy to get to from the main part of town. Robin also has the cutest store located just down the street that is a must visit! Overall 10/10 stay!

We spent a peaceful five days relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of this cabin. Steven graciously accepted our last minute reservation and also our request to extend our stay since we were having such a lovely time. No one was staying in the main house while we were there so we had the grounds to ourselves. The cabin itself is spotless and minimalist, with everything you need to cook in the modern kitchen or grill outside. We stayed with our pup and enjoyed walking him five minutes down the road to explore the town park (we had it to ourselves in mid-May but imagine it’s much busier during the summer). WiFi is super fast and we were able to work remotely without issue.

Genuinely one of the most charming and delightful airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Julian was super communicative and he gave us plenty of suggestions for places to explore in the area. We will definitely be back!

This stay was great. We walked in and immediately noticed the cleanliness of the apartment. The bed and bathroom were spotless. David promptly responded to all of my questions, and even helped me look for a ring that I misplaced. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance, which is also a great plus. If we're ever back in Hudson, we’ll be sure to stay here again.

A wonderful spot if you are traveling with a pup and looking for a convenient spot to explore Columbia county. I travel upstate a lot and this Airbnb is one of the nicer ones I have visited. The space was absolutely spotless!! Great dining space, and all the kitchen basics. The star of the show is definitely the fenced in yard. My dog was a huge fan!! The tub in the bathroom is also a nice amenity. Only things to consider, Phimont is a still a town in transition. Not somewhere I enjoy spending time. But there are tons of things nearby. Also, you do hear some noise from neighbors. Nothing that diminished our stay. I really appreciated how proactive and responsive Michelle and Jacopo were. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Great stay!!! Was impeccably cleaned and perfect location between rhinebeck, pine plains and close to the taconic! Arlene was super helpful with all questions and provided new sheets and towels through our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the lovely cozy, private cottage with our family. It was a pleasure to have the animals nearby for the kids to interact with, a safe environment to roam in the woods, and very convenient to have the farm shop a few steps away for local eggs, meats, etc. The cottage was stylishly modern with a clean aesthetic and modern conveniences. Josh was very accessible via text/phone and checked in with us during our stay. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would recommend to nature lovers, families, and those looking for a getaway in the woods!

Great cozy Catskill house with close access to highway. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of fun stuff to do around the Catskill region. Loved the old cozy home vibe of the place with nice carpets and rugs.

What a great property. Our pup and 11 year old loved the walking path, side yard and screened in porch! So very peaceful to enjoy our meals. Charming porch swing. The boy asked if we could decorate his room like the “diner like corner”. Very much needed relaxation for all. Highly recommended.

My friends and I loved our weekend getaway at Vivian's lake house. Vivian was a very responsive host and provided clear instructions that made our stay seamless. The space was super clean, modern, and easily accommodated all 8 of us. The highlight of our trip was spending time on the lake with the provided kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed ending the day by grilling and sitting around the fire pit. We wish we had stayed longer!

Amazing place. Lisa & Steve's cottage made for an amazing weekend. We had pretty bad weather but it was still a great weekend. The lake is so peaceful and the set up of the cottage is perfect. The cottage has everything you need, as well as everything you didnt know you needed! We'll definitely be back. Ate at The Aviary, The Smokehouse & The Maker (Hudson) - all very different but incredible.

I stayed at this place for my husband's birthday, The house is beautiful and very quiet, I loved the interior and the view. The only things you need to be aware is the AC is located in the living room, inside the room you need to use fans or leave the door open
