Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

I spent my birthday at this beautiful house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless and full of natural light, with lovely views that made the stay even more special. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean, and the house had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. I truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

Rick's House (Hemlock House) was a wonderful getaway! We unfortunately didnt hit the best weather but the house was perfect for a cool and rainy long weekend both indoors and out. The open first floor with huge kitchen was great for hanging out and cooking with alot of cozy nooks to read and relax. There was a lot of various outdoor spaces and decks to lounge on as well and the hot tub was perfect for the cooler cloudy weather. The bedrooms were all comfy and each room having its own bathroom was another plus. We all loved the sounds of the creek and being able to walk around the trails in the back. The House is in a fantastic location - only 10 minutes from Rhinebeck which has everything you need and is great for walking around, shopping and dining. Rick was informative and provided a great guidebook with clear instructions and local resources and recommendations. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

The house is really gorgeous. Everything was very new/modern, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen overlooking the stunning view out the back. The hot tub and fire put were nice amenities to enjoy. The BBQ seemed to not be working, but other than that, no complaints. Location wise, the property is located in the northwest Catskills, near Stamford, NY, and convenient to many hiking spots in the area as well as nearby towns. The property itself its up on a hill, in what felt like a secluded and private spot, which made it feel like a real getaway and retreat. In sum, recommend this Airbnb for the nice amenities, modern touches, and amazing view.

The cabin is incredibly charming, comfortable, and relaxing. Located on beautiful grounds, very private, but a fairly short and beautiful drive to nearby towns. I hope to stay again!

Our stay at this gorgeous cabin in Hunter was incredible! The cabin was well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen, the ping pong and pool table, and the sound bar speaker. We also loved how close we were to hikes in the area. Austin was a great host—we’d definitely stay here again!

We had two families stay at Ali’s place over the weekend. The communication was really good and responsive, directions were spot on. We did not have any issues getting in. The place was as described, it’s quiet, easy to find and all amenities in place. The EV charger provided ample juice for the two Teslas. You will need an adapter for the Tesla charger. There are grocery stores and many bars nearby too.

It started with a lovely basket of complimentary treats next to a sign welcoming me and my family!! We were impressed with all the amenities and the comfort. There were tons of items we might need from toothpaste to Tylenol. Very well stocked. Definitely will go back next year. Thanks, Tami.

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay! I cannot express how beautiful this home and property is, truly a gem hidden away in the woods. The location is a dream—completely surrounded by trees, with nothing but the sound of birds and the running creek. It felt like our own private retreat from the world. The cabin itself was beautifully maintained, super clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our favorite were the hot tub and wood fired sauna! The host Diana is incredible—friendly, responsive, and clearly put a lot of care into making this space special. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature, this place is everything.

Cozy place to stay for a fall vacation. We loved exploring the nearby towns by day and coming home to cook dinner and play board games in the evening. We learned that staring and ending the day early worked best for us, since it got dark pretty early for mid October and the roads through the woods get very dark. Animals are active at night and the darkness/silence of the woods were an adjustment for us city folks, but overall great experience!

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 teenagers and it was a great space for us. The kids loved the loft area and enjoyed hanging out in that space. Beds were comfy and linens like new. Would definitely return next time we’re in the area!

This place is AMAZING! We had an amazing time for our girls trip. Beautiful views, amazing amenities, plenty of space, and so peaceful. Adam was very responsive and so friendly. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. Can’t wait to stay at Rusk Haus again!

We had a very special week together for a family reunion and memorial. We are so grateful to Marzena and Fran for being excellent hosts. They were very responsive to our needs. The house was perfect for all of us of different ages to do separate activities but also to be together! Really perfect. We will definitely consider going again!

Excellent property on river front with awesome Mountain View. Annemarie is an amazing host, caring and responsive. Kitchen was fully loaded with all gadgets, day to day consumables and premium crockery. I would definitely like to visit again and recommend to my friends.

Loved our stay at Misty Mountain House. We booked it on a last minute whim but Lubov was very responsive which made the whole process hassle free. The House is set in a beautiful and calm surrounding with great view of the mountains from the deck, we wished we had had better weather to enjoy it but the big windows of the dining area made up for it. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. Very interesting decor all around the house as well. Also, while the house is a bit isolated, Hunter and Tannersville are just 15 minutes drive away so easily reachable for groceries or dinning.

The home was beautiful and the location was perfect for us. We spent a day at Hunter and it was less than a two minute drive. The kids loved the pool table and gaming system. My hubby loved the hot tub. There was something for everyone and it was very homey and comfortable. It was one of the best stocked homes we’ve ever rented. They literally thought of everything!

You cannot beat this location!! Our family got in an end of the season ski weekend and Bryan and Jamie's cabin was perfect - close to the mountain, compact but perfectly functional and exactly as pictured. After a long day skiing - our boys enjoyed exploring the woods off the back deck. A terrific weekend getaway.

Becca’s place was homey, comfortable and beautiful. Our dog loved hanging around the yard, it was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. The communication and flexibility was refreshing and I knew wed be comfortable the moment we started speaking to the host! Would definitely recommend!

I’ve stayed at many cabins upstate, and I can genuinely say this was the most magical, breathtaking, and special experience I’ve ever had. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning—you could truly stare at it for hours. The cozy cabin, the fireplace, the kitchen, and the incredible location made it all feel like a dream. I honestly can’t wait to come back. So happy to have found a cabin I know I’ll return to again and again!
