Monthly Rentals in Howqua River

We had a wonderful peaceful stay at Peta and Dieter’s place. It was very private, beautifully warm and we had everything we needed. The animals, cows, dogs, chickens and peacock added to the lovely atmosphere of being in the country. The mountain views were spectacular and we were so thankful for the generosity of the hosts of suppling us with wood so we could stay really nice and cosy. Thank you.

Geoff’s place was absolutely amazing! Real cozy as we wanted and lots of space to hang out. I added my sister last minute but Geoff didn’t charge as extra. We even had free milk, juice, bread etc! Really recommended. Only airbnb I’ve been with 3 smart TVs! Couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a lovely time at this peaceful getaway. The location was perfect—close enough to local attractions, yet quiet and relaxing. Our host was warm and welcoming when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights for our daughter was feeding the cows every evening—she absolutely loved it! We also enjoyed swimming in the river. While we didn’t manage to catch any fish or yabbies, it was still a fun and memorable experience. A great stay overall—we’d definitely come back again!

The house was lovely and we had a great family weekend. Jenee was very responsive and accommodating as we were allowed early access and late checkout. As the price was very high end for 3 nights a few extra touches would have been good Eg. Milk, bread, games, puzzles etc. Although not required those extra touches make a good price great, especially as the nearest store was 15 mins away. I would certainly recommend staying here as the house is very spacious and suited our family of 10 beautifully.
