The property was beautiful, peaceful and quaint - exactly what we were after. Bobbie was on hand and made checking in super easy and she was a lovely and friendly host. Would recommend to anyone in need for a peaceful stay with a short drive to nearby attractions such as Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door.

My wife and I, together with our two grown-up sons and daughter-in-law booked the Kingfisher Lodge for early May 2025. We were warmly welcomed by Richard, one of the hosts, who gave us all the information we needed and offered help with our luggage. He offered great advice about local eateries and places of interest. The Lodge itself was extremely clean, light and airy and had every utensil and appliance we could wish for. We loved the bi-fold doors leading onto the veranda, that had comfortable seating and outside dining area. Views of the sea and distant ships and boats entering or leaving Portland are fascinating. The Lodge is very comfortable and we all spent a relaxing and tranquil week, with trips to local attractions like Hardy's cottage, Lyme Regis, and Durdle Door. Kingfisher Lodge is an ideal choice as a tranquil base to visit the loveliness of the Dorset coastline.

Beautiful wonderful adventure in a converted horse box! It was a magical experience! The kiddies loved sleeping in the upstairs bed with fairy lights and planet roof! The toilet and shower being outside was lovely. So much to play with! In the middle of quiet nature and fields - Deer ran past in the evening!

Absolutely fantastic location,beautiful annexe home from home very comfortable,welcome from Rosie was lovely couldn’t ask for a better host,throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again . I adore cows and seeing them in their surroundings was just magic looking out of the patio doors and kitchen window seeing the hills beyond is just breathtaking,peaceful and so relaxing .
