Really nice traditionnal house close to Okunoshima island (5min walking from the ferry and train station). The host is really nice and responsive. The house is above a delicious italian-japanese fusion restaurant. The chief was really nice and helful.

A house you can experience authentic Japanese life

FlorenceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Yuto is such a warm host! The house has everything and is spotless. It is spacious and comfortable inside and has a charming garden. We borrowed Yuto's bicycles to go around the neighborhood. We rode along the river and the fields, and visited a few shrines in the mountains, and I was not surprised if I met Totoro. Everywhere is so beautiful, and locals are very friendly. I got a flat tire at some point, and Yuto came to my rescue immediately, which was so nice of him. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it if you love nature and want something authentic away from the city.

We had an amazing time in the most beautiful home, Masafumi is the best and nicest host 🙏🏻 The barbecue area was amazing and the local supermarket (about a 5 minute walk) has some of the best beef you’ll ever try! We will definitely come back again one day

A Japanese-style homestay in the countryside of Japan, the location is very rural, surrounded by quiet, a convenience store is five minutes away by car, and the old man next door will take the initiative to say good morning to you.I booked this listing because I wanted to experience a Japanese country homestay. It has two floors, a large tatami living room and complete kitchen facilities, but there is only one bathroom and toilet, which I had to share with friends. Overall, it was a great experience, but there was more dust in the house because there were not many guests, and the bathroom towels were a little dirty. I was a little allergic during the stay, sneezing and runny nose in the morning, and a rash on the right arm.Two friends who are together, one of them will also sneeze and have a runny nose, but the other will not.It may be related to the individual's constitution, and people with severe allergies may need to pay attention.
