Guest house holiday rentals in Henderson County

This is a quaint ADU located very close to downtown. The location is peaceful with great Mountain views. The check in process was easy and convenient. Our host Kim was always responsive, accommodating, and proactive. The bedroom is located up some steep stairs but was not an issue for us but something to consider. I would consider staying again when I want a peaceful setting but close to downtown.

My trip to the country cottage was such a welcome respite while working on an assignment in the area. Cozy, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Jerry and Deborah are so welcoming and lovely to be around. I learned much about the area from them and they were always checking in to make sure things were going well. I look forward to returning soon with my family to explore the area more and spend some time with my new friends.

Such a beautiful, peaceful oasis! We loved the beauty, the goats, the comfy bed, the garden, seeing a bear, the plush towels and the proximity to town. Jana was very responsive and helpful. Definitely a 10/10 and we would stay here again!

Had a nice stay at Rebby’s place. The surrounding area was beautiful and loved the sound of the stream behind the house. I appreciated the private space and it was clean and organized. I would recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful space

Jenny accepted by booking on VERY short notice, and at a busy time for her, and I really appreciated her graciousness for the spontaneous trip. Her home is completely lovely, and it feels serene despite the store across the street; I think her lovely trees and flowers help with that a lot. I heard street noise briefly, but that ended early, and it was a very quiet night, with a wonderful bed. And the porch! Oh, my. It's on the back of the house and feels like it's miles from city busyness. Yet, the things we planned to do in Asheville were only 15-20 minutes away. And the muffins are DELICIOUS. Jenny responded quickly to both my request to book and to other comments from me. Her home is spotless and welcoming, filled with lovely treasures and good books. I hope to return soon!

First off, we didn’t end up staying at Taras. We saw the reports that there was a potential flood threat from Hurricane Helene, so I had to cancel the morning we were supposed to arrive. I know that providing ratings when we did not actually stay seems dishonest, but every exchange we had was timely and considerate and it was exactly the kind of place we were looking for in our search. I hope that Tara and her family are safe and the people of Asheville quickly receive the necessary resources needed to rebuild from the devastation. I’m selfishly not wanting to write this great review because I will be sad if the place is booked when I go back to Tryon! The place was perfect for my pup and I while showing at TIEC. The hosts are lovely, and the place stocked with a coffee bar and water, and the community itself is beautiful. Quiet, peaceful, yet super convenient for restaurants and shopping. I will be back! Also, apologies. I stole your box of tissue under the bathroom sink because my allergies were killing me at the horse show: I meant to replace it with one I night but I forgot this morning. I apologize again and thank you!

Great place, really private and wonderful atmosphere. Went with my spouse and our two daughters and the loft sleeping arrangements worked amazing. We were worried at first since our youngest is 2 years old but there was an extremely Sturdy gate for the top of the stairs waiting for us which was a great touch, host even had some basic items in the fridge which was great and saved us some time in the morning. It is definitely private and away from the hussle and bustle which worked great for us. My daughters even got to chase lightning bugs which was a new experience for them (we live in an area where lightning bugs aren’t around)

The view was amazing! Our favorite place was sitting by the fireplace. It looked just like the pictures. Quiet and peaceful. Nice touches with the decor. Anglea responded and answered questions quickly. It's approximately 15 - 20 minutes from Asheville. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful hosts, my wife and I spent the weekend at The Nest and loved every minute of it. Greg and Gayle were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Very easy to gain entry upon arrival and the place was spotless. Would very much recommend for a weekend getaway or a “mini-moon.”

Nancy’s place was beautiful and serene. Accommodations were comfortable and quaint, and worth the price. Nancy responds quickly to questions, and makes you feel right at home.

Fun little space! Great kitchen for a tiny home if you like to cook. Only trouble coming with lots of food to prepare is there are so many restaurants, EXCELLENT restaurants, just a few blocks away. I strongly recommend "TOPSOIL"! I enjoyed my privacy and found it so easy to get on the road and go any direction.

Sandra is very welcoming and had great recommendations. We loved listening to her Horse Stories and her love for family and the area she calls home 🏡.

This is a great airbnb for exploring Landrum, the foothills, and surrounding areas. It's not far from the freeway, but feels like it is out in the country. Phyllis is very friendly and extremely helpful. She has extra touches such as some continental breakfast items, real cream for the coffee, etc. The airbnb is spotless. Lots of natural light, an amazing shower, and a very comfortable bed. Great stay!

This was a lovely cottage, perfectly located near my church conference at Lake Junaluska. It was beautifully decorated and appointed! Very comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful and serene home. The setting was truly special—quiet, restorative, and surrounded by nature. Watching the sunrise and sunset each day felt like a gift. Julie went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even boosting the internet speed so we could work remotely during the week—such a thoughtful touch that made all the difference. The home itself is beautiful, cozy, and full of charm. We especially loved the sweet pets that made the property feel even more welcoming. We’re already dreaming of our next stay. Great place. Well decorated. Modern amenities. Loved the small touches like phone charging stations, labeled cabinets, plenty of adjustable lighting, and lit staircase. Would definitely recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay in Heidi's cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. It was in a private location, but not too far from places to go. We stayed three nights and would stay there again.

My husband and I had a fabulous weekend in Brevard staying at Missy’s place. The location was perfect and convenient to anything you’d want to do. Very peaceful and beautiful as well. We loved our stay!

The Crow’s nest was the perfect place for me and my family to enjoy WNC. The place is brand new with an amazing view, in a gorgeous setting and close to the breweries, airport, Pisgah National Forest and Asheville. Leslie and Wes were great communicators and very kind to me and my family. Wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

Took my son up to camp for 5 days and decided to treat myself to a little get away too!! Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful!! My mother went with us, she is handicapped. House was easy for her to get in and out of, handrails on porch and in bathroom! Comfy beds!! Hope to stay again next year when son goes to camp!!
