Cabin holiday rentals in Henderson County

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

We enjoyed our time at Emerald Treehouse. The mountain views are exceptional. lots of trees and it feels really private. I will say getting up the hill to the property was a challenge. I'm so glad we drive a SUV. The road is gravel with deep holes, so be mindful of that. Another thing is the house had a lot of pet hair on the furnishings. I know the description said pet friendly, but pet hair was all on the couches and the pillows. We didn't have any pets with us. Overall a beautiful house, I can tell it is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Lisa's place is perfect, only wish I was there on vacation and not for work.

This cabin was the perfect base camp for a week of biking, hiking, and trail running. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (but lots of options within a 20 minute drive when we didn't feel like cooking!). We enjoyed being able to bring our dog along with us, and he loved getting to sniff around in the woods by the house. We hope to come back!

Loved our stay here! Was beautiful and very peaceful. The bed and couch were very comfortable and being able to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit made our stay even more relaxing. Would love to go back during the fall. Highly recommend!

This cabin was absolutely magical! We visited on Memorial Day weekend and it could have been more perfect! It’s a beautiful cabin that has amazing views and really makes you feel at home. Our dog Luna absolutely loved the place! They left a whole variety of movies and games for us to enjoy while we were there as well! They also included a list with the best restaurants, hikes spots and things to do! We didn’t want to leave when our trip was over! Would love to come back one day in the future!

My partner and I picked this spot for a much needed weekend birthday getaway. It could not have been more perfect! The hot tub was hot and ready for us on arrival. Although it is right next to the hosts’ home, it felt so cozy and private. When you’re on the back porch you feel like you’re suspended in the trees! There is also an adorable little fire pit nook, which we would have taken advantage of if the weather had permitted. All of the details are so thoughtful. Even though it’s a “tiny home”, we never felt cramped or crowded. The loft is also back open. I saw previous reviews that said it was closed. We didn’t need it but I’m sure others would like to use it! Both the couch and the bed are EXTREMELY comfortable, and there are tons of extra blankets of different textures for snuggling up. The towels were thick and plush, and they had nice high quality toilet paper! The kitchen is super well stocked and we cooked a full meal with ease. We will be returning yearly! Best cabin EVER!

This was easily one of my favorite stays. I used to live in Wolf Laurel, but loved the easy access to both town & nature that Kirk’s cabin offers. The interior is thoughtfully designed and the exterior looks like a storybook cabin. Having the host on-site helped me feel safe as a woman traveling alone with her dog in a remote location. Kirk gave us complete privacy.

Beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very kind and immediate to respond, when needed. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

This was a lovely, cozy home for our adventure in Brevard. The home was very clean and spacious. The house is close to restaurants and the falls. It was a perfect place for the weekend!

Cabin in the Clouds totally lived up to its name—those views are next level! The place is peaceful, cozy, and yes, there’s a taxidermied wolf in the living room who added a fun, unexpected charm to the vibe. Our dogs felt right at home and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back!

I rented this home for my annual hiatus during which I "disconnect" from work, television, social media and all outside communication (except for Wordle & coffee w/ my wife each morning!). This cabin EXCEEDED my needs and expectations. It is extremely private... I never saw another person or vehicle. The only things I saw were forest animals, including deer, a squirrel and a woodpecker! The house was super clean, and everything worked! Including, and importantly, the hot tub/ spa, the gas fireplace, the kitchen appliances and the washer/ dryer. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. I would definitely recommend this home for a secluded getaway or for family. I didn't use two of the three bedrooms, but all 3 had en suite full bathrooms and were on separate floors. Bring your marshmallows and chocolate for s'mores at the fire pit and your swimsuit for the spa, and chill! Finally, Julie was very proactive in ensuring a smooth check-in and to confirm everything was as expected. A+++.

Loved our stay! I can’t say enough about Peter’s place. It has such a personal touch. The cabin is well built and beautiful. It’s very spacious. The yard is gorgeous. I cooked large meals and the kitchen has everything I needed. We had 2 Bernedoodle puppies with us and they had plenty of room to wrestle in the floor. They are trained on e-collars and enjoyed running in the backyard. We loved the hot tub. The wrap around deck is gorgeous. We would love to stay again next time we visit Asheville!!

We had an amazing time at Bearadise Log Cabin! The breathtaking mountain views from the front porch—especially at sunrise—were everything we hoped for, and the peaceful, private setting made it feel like our own little sanctuary. Inside, the cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and offered a warm, open layout that was perfect for spending time together. Both bedrooms were comfortable, and having two full bathrooms was a great convenience. Although the driveway is steep and the internet can be spotty, these details are clearly mentioned in the listing, and we felt they were a small trade-off for such a wonderful, secluded retreat. We just took our time driving up and enjoyed unplugging from our devices to really soak in the fresh mountain air. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway near beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls—and an absolutely stunning porch view—you can’t go wrong with Bearadise!

Had a great anniversary trip here with my wife! The view of the mountains is beautiful and you are steps away from the winery (we enjoyed the wine). Perfect little one room cabin has all you need. We visited Black Bear coffee shop multiple times for coffee and pastries, went to the Biltmore, hiked Catawba falls, and went to Sierra Nevada (great food). I would recommend this place to any couple hoping for a relaxing, scenic getaway weekend.

My family fully enjoyed the one week stay at Rebecca’s house. Everything is as described. The backyard is very beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect - it feels like we’re immersed in the forest, yet we’re just a short drive from town.

Our family had a fun 4-night stay at The Coop. The house is very charming and cozy, with a great location and close proximity to hiking, swimming, restaurants, etc. We felt very safe and had all the comfort and conveniences of home. Jared and Alex provided plenty of helpful info on the home and local recommendations - perfect stay!

Alison was an amazing host. Wished we could have stayed a bit longer but had to do an early checkout due to worsening conditions of Hurricane Helene. The treehouse was breathtaking!!! So peaceful and so relaxing!!! I surprised my wife and I am so glad that I did!!! We took a day trip into Asheville that was great, too! We only stayed two nights, we could have stayed longer. Hartwell, the host, was very helpful. Five stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
