Monthly Rentals in Helton

I had a solo holiday in this lovely place. As a female on my own I felt safe and John let me know he was close by if needed. That was kind a reassuring. I was looking for a peaceful, quiet, cosy getaway which is exactly what I got. Walking distance to the pub in Askham and Lowther Castle was great. But also a great spot to head deeper into the Lake District. I’d highly recommend The Old Pavillion.

Helen's place was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The location was ideally situated close to the A road into The Lakes, and a short walk into the centre of Penrith for restaurants and shops.

I’ve just spent the most wonderful and memorable weekend with my daughter on Alice’s stunningly beautiful farm. This really is an absolute gem. The setting is like walking back in time and the cottage is just gorgeous, warm and welcoming with everything you need for a peaceful break away from it all. Perfectly located near to Ullswater and all it has to offer yet without all the hustle and bustle! Great links to the rest of the Lakes too. Alice and George made us feel so so welcome and even took the time to show my daughter all the animals on the farm. Thanks so much Alice. We can’t wait to return! X
