Family-friendly holiday rentals in Heacham

Wonderful lodge, beautiful surroundings, outdoor space was excellent. Hosts were proactive in providing any information we might need. The lodge was clean and tidy with a very well equipped kitchen with everything you would need to dine either inside the lodge or in the excellent outside space. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Secure garden for our dogs was great, they were safe and there was no way of them escaping the garden. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

It's not often that a place exceeds your expectations, but this place certainly did, it is absolutely beautiful, everything about it was perfect, there were 8 of us staying here and each and everyone of us loved it. Marcus was lovely to deal with, he recommended a restaurant/pub for a Saturday lunch, "The Red Lion" in Debenham which was about an hours walk away and the food and service were exceptional. We had a fabulous weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend stay the Pumphouse. The property is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, spacious with pristine bedrooms and bathrooms. The open plan living space is perfect for entertaining. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful with lovely walks. David was a brilliant host, friendly, responsive, helpful and did his absolute best when we had a unexpected problem with the alarm system. We would definitely rebook!

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

Such a beautiful stay at this air bnb. Great for the dog with the enclosed garden, which was very secure, and plenty of lovely walks on the door stop. The sauna and the hot tub were a great addition too.

The house is stunning. We were a party of 6 adults and a baby for joint birthday celebrations. The kitchen and lounge layout was superb for cooking, lounging and celebrating and so light with the huge windows making it feel as if the garden and house were one. The bedrooms were all big, the beds and bedding beautiful quality. Showers were great. The layout of the house suited us very well with a good distance between lounge/ kitchen area and bedrooms so as not disturb a sleeping baby in the day or evening. Lots of games left for entertainment in and outside the house. The hot tub and BBQ were a huge hit, easy to light and maintain. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, really very happy to have found Rumi's Field. Thank you to Alice and Andrew who were so helpful when we had some extra questions before staying.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

Fantastic place to stay, great location, beach, pub, and fish and chip shop within a stones throw, I couldn't have wished for better. I was met by Lynette who was very helpful and attentive throughout my stay. Sand Dude Cottages are a gem of a place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate in returning (and I will). And I can highly recommend it.

Our first visit to Norfolk and Sophie's place was a wonderful base. A lovely quite village with a few places to eat / drink. The house seemed bigger than the photos make it appear and is a really homely space. The outdoor seating is real bonus on a nice day, to be able to sit out and relax, listening to the bees. Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen plus a super comfy long sofa for those days when the weather wasn't so kind. Take a stroll from the door down to the Old Harbour and across the marshes to see all kinds of wading birds and a marsh harrier or two. Great local wildlife spots at Titchwell and Pensthorpe as well as the nearby beaches. Sophie is a great host and we're planning to come back before long.

Very friendly host and went above and beyond to provide cereals, milk , bread, jams and more for our stay. Beautifully located also and very peaceful.

We had a great stay and found the accommodation was to our satisfaction. we used local facilities and restaurants but cooked in the. house at other times. We would be happy to return. We have never visited Norfolk previously and found it a very pleasant for a holiday destination.

A fantastic stay for us with our boys, the grandparents and dogs. The house is gorgeous, characterful, warm, welcoming, cosy, charming, clean - we instantly felt at home. In a great location, across the road from the quay for seal trips, nice walk along the coast path to Blakeney, short drive to Wells & Holkham. Louise is a great host, always responded quickly and gave us plenty of info re dog friendly pubs etc. If you like North Norfolk I would highly recommend staying at Louise's place. An amazing house, so close to the beach!! The kitchen was very well equipped, perfect for cooking for large numbers. It’s a great place for a large group of friends, or family. Despite some reservations about Lowestoft as an area prior to the trip, the immediate surrounding area to the house was lovely!

What a lovely place this was - great location for us and so peaceful. Denzil & Nicky were so helpful and very responsive on the chat when we changed our arrival time. Also gave great local recommendations. The barn was just lovely with everything we needed for our stay. Being able to use the grass outside for a little family picnic was wonderful. Thanks Denzil and Nicky, we aim to return soon!

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Nice place clean and tidy. Great super fast broadband and having Netflix is a great bonus although we were out at the lovely beaches most of the time we were there Will consider booking again as we will definitely be coming back to Norfolk.

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Our family stayed at one of the beautiful lodges, we were greeted by Steve, what a lovely man, he shew us how to use the amenities, and said if we needed anything , just to ask, he left us to enjoy our 2 night stay, swimming pool amazing, hot tub amazing, our lodge was amazing too, near to the broads where we enjoyed a boat trip, really was the best 2 days, we will be going back sometime in the future Natalie Devereux

A great, homely, caravan with all the facilities we needed. A nice quiet site which is a bit older fashioned and quirky. Beautiful views of the sea and Trimingham beach from the site. Partial sea view from the caravan. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice little pool, clubhouse/bar and cafe on site. Easy access via key safe. Host very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in the Millers Loft. Everything was as described, and the owners were on hand to answer any questions or queries with a smile. In terms of amenities: - I was able to successfully charge my EV at the property following the provided instructions. - The provided Wi-Fi connection was good (seeming to approach an 80 Mbps connection) and consistent, contrary to other reviews left in the past on Airbnb.
