Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Heacham

Welcoming light & airy place with tasteful décor, comfy bedding and very comfortable living room. Kitchen though small is incredibly well stocked, both with food (including pantry items and fresh treats provided in fridge) and tools for those that like cooking: we made the most of them! A real cooks' kitchen. Bathroom also has a you-don't-need-to-bring-it completeness. Enchanting garden with outdoor seating, & handsome hens(with delicious free eggs!) for added interest. Nice country walks, and Rebecca & Richard are delightfully friendly, generous, knowledgeable and helpful. A special nook of England!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

Lovely cottage right on the Norfolk coast path. Very nice kitchen and outdoor seating area.

We have just returned home from our second stay at the Bothy. Everything about the accommodation was as perfect as on our previous visit. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and genuine, and Julie and Graham were clearly pleased that we had decided to return for another holiday. The property was perfect for our needs - being comfortable, with excellent facilities and a location which is central for visiting lots of different places. All in all we can thoroughly recommend The Bothy and we would definitely return again if holidaying in Norfolk.

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

Stunning, peaceful, secluded woodland location. Beautifully furnished, thoughtfully equipped and spotlesslessly clean. Lorraine and Wayne were friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Exceptional hosts and perfect accomodation. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Norfolk including a very friendly dog.

We booked Oak Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with all the family. We were blessed with a long weekend of beautiful weather. In fact it was so nice that we ate nearly all our meals al fresco in the garden which was fully enclosed meaning that our two dogs could wander in and out of the house. Rosie thoughtfully messaged us when we arrived to give us pointers on how to keep the house cool. The Barn is spacious and spotlessly clean with quality bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The layout in the house is perfect for extended or multigenerational families. It’s situated in a quiet country lane but within a few minutes you can be in Wroxham and the coast within half an hour. There was an excellent house manual with lots of suggestions for things to do but the weather was so warm that we tended to stay fairly local. All in all this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay at lakeside view. So peaceful and beautiful surroundings being situated right by the lake. Jean was a great host, super helpful and responsive. The lodge was even better than we were expecting. Would definitely recommend

The Gig House was fantastic. Beautifully presented and exactly as described. Situated within beautifully maintained grounds, and just a few seconds stroll to the spa, it was absolutely perfect for our girly getaway! Tan and Hannah’s communication was excellent and they were very helpful. Plus the spa was great, friendly staff, great treatments and lovely outdoor jacuzzi pool with sun loungers to relax and lap up the sunshine. Who could ask for more!

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

Lovely little chalet with plenty of things to do locally and on-site. Excellent value for money as well. All in all, deffo going on the favourites list.

Home from home accommodation. beautifully decorated and furnished. Helpful host.

The house was stunning and situated in a great location. It was perfect for myself, my husband, our three daughters and their partners, our grand-daughter and the dogs. It was well equipped, very clean and spacious. It was our first time using an Aga, which was interesting. The garden was a quiet retreat - a real sun trap - and the perfect place to barbecue. Heacham has lots to offer. The beach was only a short walk away (10-15 minutes) and there was a playground about 5 minutes away. There was a Tesco Express a few minutes walk away and a Boots pharmacy and a large Lidl was not far away. We can recommend the fish and chip shop near the beach. And the doughnuts from the shop next door were fantastic. Amelia was a very friendly and responsive host who communicated quickly and efficiently. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and would highly recommend a stay at Hope Cottage.

Great location within walking distance to south beach. The house was dog friendly, lovely conservatory with garden for dogs along with dog bed, towels and bowls. There was a lovely welcoming pack, especially loved the Sandringham apple juice. The beds were really comfortable and nice sized shower. The communication with the host was excellent too. I would definitely recommend this place. Couldn’t fault anything about it.

We had a fantastic stay at Hoot Hollow! The accommodation was amazing, very clean & tidy, comfortable and we felt right at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated the welcome basket of goodies. It is close to the beach, a few minutes drive, Heacham is a lovely village with a pond, a great park including a skate park and shops nearby. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the field behind the house had a lots of birds to watch and we spotted deer in the evenings. Very quiet location. Harry was a great host, responded quickly to any questions we had. A great location for a family holiday!

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village, great garden.Good base to visit coastline and lots of local places of interest. Well presented. Just off a main road but feels like your in the middle of nowhere. Just idyllic. Thankyou.

Shelley’s house is amazing. Could be more perfect. It was the most equipped house I have stayed in. Among the vast variety of glass the the only thing missing were champagne flutes, but we understand these break easily. The beds were super comfortable. The outside table sn chairs were lovely. We had the best weather an were in the garden the majority of the time. So clean and the decor was high end Shelley if you ever consider selling you house please reach out to me as I would love to buy it xx

100% Recommend Olive House! We had an amazing stay at Olive House — it’s beautifully decorated with a luxurious and comfortable feel throughout. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. Nic was a fantastic host: super responsive, helpful, and full of great local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!!
