Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Absolutely magical stay! This cliffside home near Luray was everything we hoped for and more. Secluded, peaceful, and with breathtaking views — we truly felt like we had our own little corner of the world. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for cozy evenings under the stars, and the fully stocked kitchen was a dream (I even got some baking in!). We grilled all our meals on the big outdoor setup, which made it feel like a proper retreat. Driving through the surrounding farms and rolling green landscapes was a highlight — every turn felt like a postcard. The home had everything we needed and more. We felt so at ease and taken care of. Highly, highly recommend. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Absolutely incredible stay! From start to finish, this place exceeded all our expectations. Every bedroom had a stunning view—waking up to such beauty each morning was a dream. The game room was a huge hit with our group and provided hours of fun. The entire home was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with large bedrooms that made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. The location was perfect—peaceful, private, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It felt like our own private getaway, yet still conveniently located. Robert, the host, was outstanding. He responded to every question almost instantly and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. It’s clear he genuinely cares about making sure his guests have a great experience. The place was perfect for what we wanted to do in the area. Super quaint and quiet. The neighbor, Mary, from down the road even stopped by to introduce herself and let us know she's there if we need anything. Definitely recommend if you're wanting to visit Luray and/or the Shenandoah region!
