Monthly Rentals in Haugastøl

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! Good communication and very helpful before and during the stay. The place is a lovely mountain cabin, worth coming back to. Unfortunately the sauna did not work BUT that was communicated beforehand. The place was in very good condition, especially considering that guests have to clean themselves as the cabin is quite remote. Will be coming back ☺️

A cozy hut with a wonderfull view over the lake. We stayed in wintertime (early february) and had no issues getting to the cabin by crossing the frozen lake by ski, after arriving by train in hagastol (3km). So it is also possible to get to the cabin by public transport and ski as long as the lake is frozen and safe to cross. We had many options for crosscountry skiing on the lake and up the mountains. If you need marked trails for orientation, it would be better to come when winterseason has started (end of february). We visited Monsbunuten and had an incredible view over the hardangervidda nationalpark. The cabin is very spacious. It can be heated by electricity and woodstove. We felt home ammediatly. We found a wonderfull place to rest and reset. We can recommend this place for everyone who seeks out a calm and quiet place in nature with the opportunity to explore the lake and fjäll region around it.

Super cosy cabin with a spectacular view over the lake below. Super location for walking and biking. When you are outside on the terrace you hear the road below a bit during the day and sometimes a train, but that didn't bother us. The summer road to the cabin is a bit of an adventure on it's own if you are not used to driving on gravel roads. Christian is a super host, very responsive to any questions we had. Very recommended!
