Running out of battery but can't run out of praise for this GEM of a find! The wonderful 'Salt Pan Cottage' at Cloughton gave us without doubt the best Air B'nB stay ever. A character cottage converted to the highest standards with 1 large living/sleeping space including stunning exposed inner stone wall, superbly equipped kitchen, super bathroom with 2 shower choices over bath (+ extended shower standing room), very comfortable king sized bed, excellent quality storage space, quality towels, throws, cosy eating/relaxing TV area just up from kitchen and a totally private garden looking out to single path/driveway/fields with comfortable seating for relaxing/reading/eating. 5 mins on foot from Loughton Cove (for the more adventurous?) and 2 mins from public path (walkers/cyclists) to Hayburn Wyke/Inn and onward to Ravenscar. Easy access by car to Scarborough/Whitby & coastal bays. Hosts couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Huge thanks to you Mick & Debbie! Heavily recommended!

come for a short stay with my family and had an excellent experience all around ! I was especially surprised at the quality of the fit out. Almost unesasarily high quality which was fantastic. grohe bathroom fixtures, integrated Bosch combi microwave which must have cost over a grand just for a microwave. wine chiller (these cost a fortune most air bnbs just have a fridge) worktop was high quality resin or marble. solid wood beds with nice mattresses. even had decent size LG TV's in each room as opposed to the customary air BnB tiny ghettotronic 5000 TV's. my 2 year old kept saying "can we stay at different house, I like different house more than our house" would defiantly come again for longer next time !

Beautiful property, top location and very friendly, welcoming hosts. Couldn’t ask for more. Lorna made sure everything ran smoothly and was so welcoming to our family during our stay. Particularly wanted to note some of the generous additions such as letting us stay past the check out time as they were not expecting new guests in that day, provision of shampoo/conditioner etc and milk and snacks & taking the time to introduce us to some of the animals on the farm which our baby daughter loved. Would love to head back and stay here again.

A nice location with great views from the patio. Easy parking outside the cottage. Very clean and tidy with everything you need inside. Bowl of fresh fruit and eggs for us on arrival. Beds very comfortable. WiFi worked good throughout our stay. Good sized bathroom with a good shower & bath. Instructions on how to find the cottage were excellent. Had a nice five days at the cottage.
